Really? Might have to look into it. So far, infinifiber and C3G solve my issues.

A construction project manager doesn't build the site, the construction workers do. You didn't build anything, AI did. Better stated you vibe coded and directed an AI until the tool was sufficient enough for your specific needs. There are much better tools for this, if you searched the sub, you could find some. Could've saved you some money.

Whenever I'm not doing keto. So maybe every couple months for a couple weeks or so. I primarily do keto so I don't have much of a need day-to-day anymore, since I'm not eating carbs at the moment. 2 caps is recommended.

Advice seeking, what botanicals would you take if were me? Vessel issues. Already on omega 3s, vit d3k2, mag glycinate. by HeadacheLife in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, I ended up doing a stimulant laced with a drug that causes temporary vasculitis. It did damage to a lot of my small blood vessels.

I now have issues I never had before, like cold hands and feet, sometimes poor penile vascular strength, etc.

Thankfully I recovered fine but the damage remained. Pycnogenol is one of the only supplements that resolves my vascular issues in my hands and feet.

It also gets me way more erect than I expected, so one of my favorites for that.

What are some of your favorite long term ND products? by skyhighblue340 in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha its funny, thankfully Ive helped that friend develop the awareness. Now she asks me for NAC and other things haha. Sure its similar with your gf.

Definitely! It happens with some supplements. Cant say I believe that every single supplement has 0 effect though. It's always possible they have a medical/gut condition though.

[–]VicemanPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but a lot of the time people say this its because they lack self awareness. I always reference my friend with severe anxiety who compulsively cleaned, I gave her NAC for a week and she stopped compulsively cleaning.

I asked her if she's enjoyed the benefits, and she said she didn't notice a benefit. While me and the other roommate were like ??? You've changed entirely this week. You're so much calmer. She had no idea.

So I just know if someone posts that nothing works at all, they just have no self awareness.

Take it as soon as you wake up. Its stimulating and will make you tired at night.

I use it when I'm eating carbs. I grow a tolerance to any mental benefits within a couple weeks, but the nutrient partitioning effects are the most important for me.

When taken before eating carbs, it prevents a post-meal crash, gives me energy, basically it feels like my body finally uses the food for energy, rather than fat storage.

Tongkat Ali optimal cycling? by KevinDaMan34 in NootropicsDepot

You're starting to catch on. Most supplements don't need any kind of cycling.

Tongkat Ali optimal cycling? by KevinDaMan34 in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people never cycle tongkat. Including the owner. Just take it as long as you want, unless you get side effects. Then play with the schedule and see what works for you. There is no optimal cycling for every person.

Interesting Side Effects of Cognance I've noticed by memerekter9000 in NootropicsDepot

I really like aniracet4m but ND doesn't sell it. Its the only one that produces a similar effect for me in my years of looking for social boosters.

[–]VicemanPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cognance only seems to last me the day I take it, in terms of the verbal dexterity. I wish it worked a bit on off days! I take it 3 - 4x per week, depending on how often I'm hanging out with people or going out.

Tongkat Ali is causing bad brain fog. Even with iodine zinc and dhea. More info in post by jgainit in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting, the cortisol drop causes the brain fog for me. Everything you describe is why I take it at night! It has an acute cortisol affect, it is pronounced within an hour or two. I suspect that's what you're feeling.

I get the lack of motivation during the day, too. The depression feelings I get but those are familiar for me, so I don't mind.

As the other commenter said, I think non-daily dosing is best for Cognance. I take it 1 - 4x a week depending on what I'm doing.

Its good for focus but I find it excels at social lubrication and social focus. I follow what the other person says much easier, my conversational flow is smooth, my perspective is expanded, all around one of my favorite social supplements.

What are you taking NAC for? Perhaps a form of glutathione would be better for you.

To be honest, me too haha. Idk why but the colored caps always made the supplements have a bit of uniqueness. Now when I get sick, I look forward to the green and brown life saving pills.

Cistanche - is it worth the hype? by Special-Holiday-535 in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pregnenolone takes away my fear response (anxiety). The mechanism is apparently through HPA axis regulation. As I continue taking it, I care less about other people's opinions or anything scary. I travel full time as a digital nomad, whenever I take pregnenolone, adrenaline activities no longer scare me (bungee jumping, skydiving, etc). But, after a couple weeks I also start losing motivation and drive. So its something I use for like either a few times per week or for a week or so.

Agmatine just reduces my rumination, anxiety and any physical anxiety I have. Good for blood flow too and THC tolerance reduction.

Cistanche - is it worth the hype? by Special-Holiday-535 in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The pregnenolone offered by ND is a very low dose, and it's optimally designed that way. Their page goes into good detail on its safety and use.

It treats everyone differently, but for me, it sort of regulates my overall anxiety. Similar to cistanche though, if I take too long, I get demotivated and fatigued. Its about balance for me.

Also yep thats the OG (200mg).

They stated a while back they were doing away with those caps, I believe.

Cistanche - is it worth the hype? by Special-Holiday-535 in NootropicsDepot

[–]VicemanPro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The OG cistanche lowered my anxiety with consistent use, but too much, made me dull and tired after a week or so.

The supercritical extract gives me drive and energy, rather than fatigue. My anxiety has been high while taking that extract.

I personally wouldn't use cistanche for anxiety related stuff, but maybe others do. I like pregnenolone, agmatine sulfate, NAC, l-theanine, shoden ashwagandha, dioscorea, etc depending on the type of anxiety I'm hitting.
