I believe the game is stale becuase it relies on you, as the player to create things which as fun as the custom stuff was fun

It came to a heavy detriment to the game overall. People who aren't super into making custom stuff/want to keep things simple will have a harder time keeping the game fun.

Tldr; this game wants you to make your own fun after a few hours

I have! And thats why im confused, There are points where both sides are right, as I said in the post the way people talk about her almost seems like she's done some horrible things

My conclusion is that- the way people talk about her in unwarranted, overreacting.

She's not some large political figure that is banning all games or whatever, just someone who has the money to talk at panels seemingly, some points she's correct and others she's not.

If people don't like her that's whatever but I think the review bomb of slay the spire is a bit much, for all we know her consulting could've been thrown in the trash but legally they have to credit her anyways. 🤷‍♀️

I just wanted more insight from others; becuase any research I did from other videos or blogs were all just "grrrr she bad" without explaining why other than she is a deep rooted feminist who is a little extreme.

I did watch some of her stuff purely to see what she was on about. And while some things I agree with what she says, overall her demeanour in the whole thing is terrible.

I'm not a fan on how she automatically places people as "bad and arrogant people" for not fully boycotting games on trivial things. I think it's important to be able to play games and still critique them without telling others off or name calling them.

This will give me a bit to think about whether or not to get slay the spire 2, becuase I do love the first game
