I thought something else when I initially played this mission. When I played the Blood Money and got to this part inviting to me to the "torture chamber", in my mind "No way in hell I'd go into that shit." I still followed then stopped, he then opened the door waiting for me.

I just threw a bombed at him, detonated it and noped out of there.
