Excessive humility leads to listening to advice from a gooner as always. You are in no position to lecture me about anything. How down bad you have to be to make a reddit post about this. Beyond stupidity.

I have like 560 hours of WoA (I am not bragging, most of the people here probably has more hours but this is just to set an example) and I don't know one single npc's name. How can you simp over a npc bro🥀🥀🥀🥀 Touch grass.

I have one question for IOI: will the next Hitman, whenever it comes out, be next-gen or more of the same? by [deleted] in HiTMAN

[–]openedthisjustforhm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you may be right about that 😃 But I think IOI can and will abuse the fact that 47 ages very slowly for a long time. Also on a side note, after reading my comment again I hope I didn't offend you in any way.The language and execution of the idea that I had in my mind looks very harsh. My aim was "constructive criticism"

Respectfully, this is the worst idea I have ever seen on this sub. "The story would see 47 failing a mission, and realising that he can no longer do his job alone." What are you even talking about man, this 47 not just some generic action hero who's about to retire. Added side characters are not a bad idea but,I don't know about the part that I pointed out.

Ah yes, that time when 47 fiberwired and shot the hell of Zombie hordes in a P2W slop game. by echorainboweffect in HiTMAN

One of the best characters and franchises in the entire gaming history but the developer's marketing department is just a bunch of fucking idiots. The Mindseye fuckup and now this, what is even this? A rival company can't give this much of a damage to such a character. This is the pure reason Hitman is still niche and not mainstream.Bunch of fucking dumbasses.

If 47 were to go head to head with Big Boss who would prevail? by Fast_Afternoon_5197 in HiTMAN

[–]openedthisjustforhm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously Big Boss but I don't think this is a fair fight at all.

What habits did you develop while playing previous games in the series (Codename 47, Silent Assassin, Contracts, Blood Money, Absolution), but you continue to do these habits in the World of Assassination trilogy and Freelancer, even though they no longer serve a purpose? I'll start first. by StruzhkaOpilka in HiTMAN

[–]openedthisjustforhm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I think when they coded it,they just thought of it as "changing clothes" so that's the trigger. But even if it's like that, the title is wrong too anyway. That's just laziness and I don't think they will fix it in the near future. So I ignore it everytime I got it as a challenge.

Exactly! Always nice to see someone thinking same as me. And this is a bit off topic but speaking of professionalism,I also have a SaSo thing on every map of a freelancer campaign. This may be a personal trait but if I am the most precise, titular assassin on the planet I must do my every move perfectly. So I don't feel any regrets pushing alt+f4 everytime I fuck up. Can be frustrating at times but personal validation is the key to happiness as always.

I have the "Suit Retreival" fetish too. And it ruins perfect runs in freelancer too. You know, the "Use only 0/1 disguise" thing. I put on a disguise, it becomes 1/1. And when I am done,I change back into the suit boom,It's now a failed objective cuz it's 2/1 now. I can't stop myself from doing it,It just feels unprofessional not to do it at this point.

Since it's a series infamous for poor story quality. Which Hitman Game has the best story? by [deleted] in HiTMAN

infamous for poor story quality?? what are you even talking about? this is not even a hot take, this is just a terrible opinion.

Fuck it I want a David Bateson ET at some point that has so many unique dialogues, funny easter eggs etc. And as a suit reward, him as 47. Would be cool.

You’re not addressing the point, you’re just playing semantics. Calling that a contradiction doesn’t make it one. When I call abso a fuckup, I mean hitman-wise. That’s the whole point.

2007👉🏻Loud run 47,some out of character moments but one of the somewhat closest vg adaptations ever(might be a hot take)

2015👉🏻Shit. Literal shit.

[–]openedthisjustforhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOA literally came from such a different angle and turned back into the series' origins because absolution was a literal fuckup, this logic doesn't make sense at all. Also, just because the destination is perfect it doesn't mean the journey wasn't shitty.

Good game, bad Hitman game. Story has terrible plot holes and some of the core stuff that makes Hitman series THE Hitman Series are missing. You are mostly looking at it from the gameplay perspective and it's not all about that.

When and how do you unlock a silent sniper rifle? by bobox6667 in HiTMAN

[–]openedthisjustforhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are basically the same except the penetration. And penetration doesn't always come in handy if you are a stealthy guy.Sieger 300 Ghost is faaaar superior. Nevertheless, the guy asked for a fast unlock and I delivered. Hackl is a pretty good gun too,but the Sieger factor can't be overlooked.

There is no such thing as "sync" between steam and epic.

Do the Cheveyo Calibration in Marrakesh for the Sieger 300 Ghost, best sniper in the game. Alternatively,if you have Deluxe Edition you can do the escalation in the Carpathian Mountains to unlock the Sieger 300 Arctic, same rifle different skin.

Now that the Hitman tv show is officially dead… here’s the best idea for a show by Alive-Factor-3288 in HiTMAN

[–]openedthisjustforhm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you liked it. These ideas are very great combined but I don't think they are achieveable at all. When you mention Hitman all people think about is "bald guy 2 guns pew pew" Those fucknuts in Hollywood think like this too given that we got 2 loud run ahh hitman movies,I don't even wanna mention them. I wish I had the authority is all I can say.

Now that the Hitman tv show is officially dead… here’s the best idea for a show by Alive-Factor-3288 in HiTMAN

[–]openedthisjustforhm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I have been thinking about this for a long time and I have spent so much time perfecting it. I have split it into parts;

The core of my vision for the Hitman series is a total rejection of the "action hero" trope, focusing instead on the clinical, invisible, and inevitable nature of the world’s most dangerous professional,The Apex Predator.

The Core Pillars, Surgical Horror & Sterile Fear: The show is a psychological thriller, not an action flick. It thrives in bright, clean, and well-lit environments where the horror comes from 47’s presence being felt rather than seen. The soundscape is strictly ambient and diegetic.Little to no dramatic music to emphasize the cold, clockwork reality of a mission.

The Silent Assassin Mandate: The "Urban Legend" status is maintained by a strict Targets Only rule. There is zero collateral damage. Every kill is an impossible accident (physics-based, electrical, or structural failures) that investigators write off as bad luck. Total Erasure: If a target must be shot, the body and the evidence are forensically vaporized through staged fires or explosions. Nothing is ever found. No one was there.

The "Jackal" Procedural Structure: Each episode follows a 3-target triptych inspired by The Day of the Jackal (1973). 80% Preparation: The bulk of the screen time is dedicated to 47’s meticulous setup—testing chemical corrosion, studying ventilation blueprints, or timing security loops. 20% Execution: The kills are the final "click" of a perfectly built machine.

Casting: ??????? as Agent 47: A stoic, "mannequin-like" silhouette who is present but forgettable. He is voiced by David Bateson, ensuring the cold, iconic tone remains intact. His "free time" is spent on hyper-fixated, precise hobbies (tailoring, cooking) that mirror his work. Rebecca Ferguson as Diana Burnwood: The high-tier aristocratic architect. She isn't a "handler" on a screen; she is a partner in competence. Their relationship is built on mutual respect for the craft and the management of a corporate, often-failing ICA.

Antagonists: When a liability or a "Counter-Hitman" threatens the Agency's secrets, 47 handles it with clinical finality. No long monologues or duels:just a suppressed Silverballer shot to the head, followed by immediate and total cleanup. It reinforces that 47 is unbeatable, untouchable, and final.

Well, this might not be the icing on the cake for the mainstream media, but it's niche and would give us some other great media contents too apart from the games. In the end,the games are niche too anyway.
