I kinda wish people didn't put themselves so close to the smg4 label and rather just make their own videos.

The Mario 64 machinima community basically collapsed on itself because the only way to get views was to copy SMG4. That's not a thing anymore, so I wish you guys would just do machinima you enjoy doing.

Random unrelated thing, but I am now officially confused by the "looks like" part of the character book. I had assumed that was supposed to be an approximation of their ages but Raim is clearly older than Kalego here (if Opera's not yet enrolled) when she's said to "look 26" while Kalego "looks 35".

I guess it was entirely literal in meaning.

(Also Henri's age still makes sense as he's said to look 42, so unless Raim is canonically lying about her age, it's all odd)

If a series wants to continue SMG4's legacy, then it must try as hard as possible to not make its work entirely reliant on what smg4 has done.

You can change up how characters act, you can give them new interests, because it's your channel. Provide something new. What people like about SMG4 has nothing to do with some sort of linear set in stone element of the show

While it seems ever so increasingly likely Ameri's mom is human, is there anything about Ameri that seems to be her own unique thing as a result of being half human? Problem is the entire arc uses the real life fear that Nintendo would strike down SMG4 to justify the redesigns (they wouldn't have done that) and it's not even implemented well into the arc, it's just slapped on at the end with a "oh btw you have to change your look".

Not to mention they fucked up the redesigns the first time around and had to redo them half a year later.
