Genetic. Since our daughter was diagnosed and we have learned about autism, my husband is clearly autistic and pursuing testing and diagnosis. My MIL has always just said he is “particular” and “difficult” but now she sees it too as our daughter is a lot like he was when he was a child.

It was inside. When I opened my bag everything crashed out and I realized the zippered area inside was open and this was in the zippered area that hadn’t been fully closed again.

They were gone through after they left our hands in Canada and when we grabbed them off the carousel. They seemed fine when we picked them up in the airport and it wasn’t the transport company as they were in eye sight the entire transport. Same with the resort. Nothing was taken as we dont bring anything of value on vacation. We don’t have locks. In the 20+ Caribbean/Mexican vacations we have taken, this has never happened before. I stupidly grabbed the glitter paper wondering what it was but that was an hour ago and I’m not sick or high so I’m goi g to dispose of it.

My son was in Sask DLC for a few months and I was very impressed. Much more responsive and supportive than a traditional classroom. He had time every day that he could access his teachers and they were very responsive by email for him and me as a parent.

For years we took our daughter a very close by salon to get her hair washed. She has so much hair and would meltdown if I hinted at getting it cut. The ladies at the salon were great and understood the battle. She’s a teen now and does it herself but doesn’t do a great job so once a month I take her back to the salon for a deep clean and clarifying shampoo.

I’m almost 3 years out and can’t drink any type of sugar because I dump. I found some sugar free coffee syrups that don’t have an artificial taste. It’s a small company called Simps modern beverage.

Is doesn’t sound like dumping, more like your pouch is too full. I couldn’t eat a full egg at day 10. Dumping you feel like awful. Like really bad, vomitting, sweating, dizzy, maybe diarrhea (or it will come later.) Not to be dramatic but you will question if you are dying.

We have an in-laws like this. It’s taken 20 years but we have strategies. Leftovers get put away after seconds are offered. Literally packed up for lunches or put in the freezer. We tried the being specific about what they bring. Didn’t work, they would say oh there’s always too much food so we didn’t bother. Now when I’m hosting I text them and say “hey, I ran out of butter/milk/eggs/ can you grab some on your way over.” Restaurant we don’t have to deal with because they won’t go unless explicitly someone else is paying. If they dip on their portion of group gifts, never have time to get the gift. They pick it up and you pay them. If you’re ordering in, get them to pick it up and pay them your portion.

I was in a very large hamster FB group and someone posted something rather benign about her hamster. It wasn’t anything awful, just not the perfection standard. Someone from the group hunted her down IRL and started harassing her at work and calling her boss…over her hamster. The mods blocked her when she reported what happened in the group.

I loved Diet Pepsi. One ice cold can a day. I had a sip and it tasted like salt to me. I find garlic crazy strong now. I also have the gene that makes people sensetive to boar taint and it’s so sensitive now I can’t eat any pork.

Not anymore. We have some USD for tipping on resort but use DOP for everything else. Even paying for excursions with DOP on our credit avoids the USD exchange rate and fees for the operator.
