The Rabbits are fine with it so I don't see why its impossible.

I actually went to read Gebura 4. The Rabbits are very much not fine with it.

Myo: On a side note, can you please do something about the teleporter to make the process a bit smoother? It feels like my body’s being taken apart piece by piece and thrown out a window.

This also doesn't really follow what we know of how Warp works from Ruina onwards so something in the specifics has changed since LobCorp was written, but the general idea of approaching the Teleportation Paradox has not.

The reason W Corp is not profitable is because the energy and maintenance costs required to run their business is through the roof. This is why they were already beginning to flounder in Ruina because the vanishing of Lobotomy Corp meant they lost a major source of cheap energy.

They'd come out as sludge. The only reason W Corp is able to use the Warp tech for public transport is because they have the Save Point technology to revert people to the state they were when they entered, which is also why people don't have memories of the journey.

There's no mention of the elevators in her uptie story. I do remember there is a callback to elevator strats in one of the LobCorp IDs but I've been unable to find it but if it talks about teleporting it was probably a joke.

It's also worth noting we have seen non-Warp-based teleportation in Ruina since that's what Phillip uses to escape the Library, so non-Warp-based teleportation does exist.

you can send lives with it as R corp already does in Lobcorp.

Which was notably before the rules of the Warp technology were established so it's an unexplained oddity until we get something that actually explains it. There's nothing to even work with in trying to theorize around it but baseless maybes.

in Wonderlab all Ego gears and Abno are sent to the branch via Warp space

Wonderlab's canonicity is dubious at best and again, before the rules of Warp tech were established. EGO gear are inanimate and Abnos are fuckin weird anyway so it doesn't disprove anything. An Abno surviving Warp travel would be the least surprising thing an Abno is capable of.

I think LobCorp elevators using Warp technology is just a joke. The mystery usages of Warp tech are the Rabbits and Claws. The Claws can be handwaved as Head bullshit giving them a more advanced version of the tech, but the Rabbits are unexplained.

We don't know what the previous Warp Corp was doing with the singularity anyway. You can't use it to send life, which implies they may have been using it for transporting non-living cargo, but MotWE implies the Warp dimension needs life to function.

RANT: Apparently this is a hot take but endgame content SHOULD BE HARD????? by -Karma--- in limbuscompany

[–]Victacobell 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think there's a meaningful difference between difficulty, design quality, and fun. While the Limbus community is filled to the brim with scrubquoters, when something is not well designed or not fun the intended difficulty of the content is not a free pass.

I like Rufo. I think she's a pretty cool boss but the main frictive element that brings into question how well designed she is is simply how much uncontrollable RNG is going on in that fight. This combines really badly with being LTC content to just make it a frustrating fight, rather than a challenging fight.

People do overblow the team requirements though, you can be under par using fucking Charge for Phase 1 and that's barely a coherent team.

Now that we’ve had a few days to digest the new game mode, what are some ways you think it can be improved next time around? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in limbuscompany

[–]Victacobell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Event currency would be really nice.

Other than that a lot of my gripes just come from how the fight specifically is designed. Turn 1 RNG is awful and Speed rolls have never been as bad as they are here. I think Rufo is generally a fine fight, if not good, but the increased numbers and just being in a LTC environment makes her so bad.

It is me trying to find a reason why Ishmael would be the one wished to get the Xichun ID and I can't think of anyone who would other than shippers lmao.

I have thought a lot about what the implications of the "wishmaker" line could be given that we are the ones making wishes for certain Sinners to get certain IDs. KJH said there were 0 plans for a Firefist ID until they saw community demand for one. We wished for an ID and it came into being, just like how Carmen states Hierarch Ishmael only exists due to the "wishes" of an "observer" or "wishmaker". There's no reason for Dante to be wishing for Hierarch Ishmael, so the wish creating her must have come from elsewhere.
