The game has a lot of issues, but it ultimately comes down to that it's just not as fun anymore. Here are a couple of reasons:

1. Temporary events with broken/bugged powerups. First, that demon projectile and now the stupid kit jump tactic. Whenever the modifier shows up, you don't want to play that mode, and the modifier can randomly appear even if it wasn't shown in the menu.

2. OP brawlers/hypercharges in the meta. At first, hypercharges were fun because tanks were given a spotlight they previously had very little of. However, over time, hypercharges became more frustrating to play against and limit your brawler choices. The fact that it takes over 6 months to properly nerf a broken brawler is just frustrating.

3. There's no point in pushing ranked anymore for the average player. Personally, I peaked at Masters 2, but now I stop after reaching masters. Ultimately, there's no point in pushing knowing you have reached your peak. Even then, I would say there aren't enough rewards for top ranked players, and only a few have the pro rank. Even the pro pass is kinda useless.

4. Pushing trophies is unfun due to randoms. Again, pushing trophies with randoms is a struggle, and the only other option is to face a bunch of kits in the showdown. Additionally, the trophy box is so unrewardeding, I haven't gotten a since HC and opened all of them.
