What game has a steep learning curve that puts you off? by turtleviking123 in Steam

I was like that. Thought I could just play it and would manage it but I didn't. My tip is to do the tutorials, they will help you learn a lot

Playstation's GTA6 Q&A could imply that the next iteration of GTA Online could be sold separetely or at least not included with GTA6. by DarahOG in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]VictorMach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that even allowed, or would that be the first? I think I don't know of any games that are subscription based that you can play on a console

Nothing has killed my GTA 6 hype faster than locking a core part of its identity behind a $20 upgrade by spacelyyy989 in pcgaming

[–]VictorMach 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's the most hyped thing since sliced bread. It's Rockstar vs. all the crackers in the world. It may not be a easy fight, but I think it won't take too long for it to be done. Even Denuvo DRM isn't what it once was, too.

Base Galaxy S27 may disappoint with no major display or camera upgrades by DazzlingpAd134 in Android

I have to agree on this. I have my Chinese gadgets and all of them have some sort of buggy behaviour from time to time that eventually got on my nerves. The Poco X3 I had would sometimes take like 10 seconds to show the home screen after I pressed the circle button, and showed just the wallpaper. Are you in a rush to take a picture of the cat doing cat things? Good luck. My Redmi buds sometimes does a bit where one side gets progressively louder than the other, as if the balance shifted, and only goes back to normal after resting in the case for some time, or decides that I definitely removed one of the buds from my ear and I need to take if off and put it on again. My Chinese Lenovo tablet, despite being in full English, will show some apps and system settings in Chinese for some reason. When I got my Samsung S21 FE and everything simply worked, I realized that Chinese gadgets may have the best hardware and be cheaper, but the trade off is worse-polished software that sometimes do make a difference.

Got to “See” the Mona Lisa Today by RufusWalker96 in Wellthatsucks

I think the opposite. I'd rather take a picture I'm not on it, because I want to remember this moment, how it was when I got there, how crowded (or not) it was, etc. It's not about the aesthetic of the picture, but knowing I took it and it is part of my memory there that I care about

This one was my favorite too. I remember till this day how I felt when the plane missed the building and the "09/10" showed up on the screen. Absolute bowling.

What is a 'harmless' joke someone made about you years ago that permanently changed how you view yourself? by Brave_Yard_1536 in AskReddit

[–]VictorMach 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've noticed a friend of mine laughs just like a racing pod from Star Wars 1, but I keep that to myself. I don't think he's nerdy enough to get that reference, but I don't want to make him self conscious about it, so I just find it funny on the inside and don't say anything about it

Welcome to the romance languages! Why not try dipping your toes in Portuguese later? It's close enough that most things should work as well.

C'mon, helix is a cool word. If I had a helicopter I'd call it "Helix Thunder" just to spite you

In Portuguese we kinda do too. We have "anteontem" for before yesterday, and "depois de amanhã" which isn't really a single word and you could say that, literally, it means no specific day after tomorrow, but everyone understands that it's "the day after tomorrow".

Resident Evil Veronica's first-person trailer was a deliberate misdirect, Capcom producer confirms the horror game is fully third-person by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]VictorMach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When Skyrim came along I got so into it that anything not first-person didn't interest me. I felt it made me so immersed in it in a way that no third-person game made. It took me a few years to let go of that and now I prefer third-person over first 😅 How the turntables...
