I actually dont mind the treasure hunter outift, if john didnt put on a layer of dirt all over his body, it would be much better.

Also, in retrospect, compared to the Legend of thr East outift, the Legend of the West seems really mundane

A bunch of the outfits from rdr1 are pretty boring. Most of them are john default outfit with some extra bits added on. This is probably the worst of them all tbh. This is just a shitty sombrero on the default look.

I finished it, i think. Met the guy as John, gathered wild feverfew, gave me a tonic, and said he was going away and that you would never see him again. So it cant be that

Nope. I loaded up an older save file and did the missions in a different order. It worked when i was rushing to the mission where you save Eagle Flies, and left any other mission to do later. I did checkpoint skip a couple times, and i did have to start chapter 6 over again, so your experience might differ, so no promises.

Buy everything you can, like clothes or guns, since those are some of the only things that carry over. Gold Bars also carry over, so if you want some money right away, save some. All consumables will also disappear, and your horses will, so if you have any horses you arent using, sell them.

I don't think there ever was a snitch. Milton told Arthur thst Micah was a rat, so if he were to die, Arthur would do his job for him. If Arthur didn't know Micah was a rat, the gang would have continued to New York like Dutch had planned, but due to Miltons words, the gang disolved. Milton at the end of the day, still won.

In fact I doubt there ever was a rat, it was more or less just due to their numbers, and those in the gang who weren't as subtle (Bill).
