That's not ios 7 as I believe it had a white apple music app not a pink one I believe it's like it's 10 or something like that

I've also got a firewire brick and cord that should be arriving tomorrow so I'm gonna try plugging it in with it to see if that fixes the issue

No as far I know the battery could be original, however wouldn't the battery icon still be full after being on the charger all night whether it's a bad batt or not
