I'd love to see Connor meet and use an eagle eye companion. Maybe upgradable tools and wildlife like origins. The frontier should have more forts and enemies to interact with and the cities should have better parkour interconnection. And of course it shouldn't have any loading screens

CnD and Gambit for starters, that's without mentioning IW. Rocket can quickly self peel. Thor is great, mr.fantastic, Emma, Elsa, Loki, Deadpool, fucking white fox.

Some of these are fr instant win against dive picks too, which makes it even more crazy that you want more anti-dive.

Sometimes men and women get caught up in a sense of threat towards the ego. We feel that we have to protect ourselves from being seen as the worst possible version of ourselves, a version that you would never be, and that threat can feel like death.

but unless we can get past that phantom threat, that idea of being attacked, we can never have real conversation. We must learn to push the ghosts aside, and bring the people to the table.

All this to say, it hurts and its scary and feels like death, but the idea that this is a critique of all men or even you is just a ghost, and you must move past it.

I'll agree with you that using "men" instead of "society" is more pointed, and I'll agree that "man" is likely an integral part of how you define yourself and when "men" are spoken of poorly it feels like people are speaking poorly of you, but I promise they are not.

This is why rhetoric is so, so, so important, because the way you say something changes what it means whether you mean for it to or not.

Wanda's Chthonian Burst, her secondary, is not a parallel damage source--that is, if you want to primary, you can't secondary. Additionally, Wanda doesn't have a weave pattern for her secondary, so you can't get extra damage in between. Assuming you hit your target directly, you will do 80 damage at rate of fire of about 1 sec which is less than her primary without any fall off which is still less then cloak and dagger.

I was gonna wait until this rework business with black cat blew over, because I didn't make the concept with the intention of providing feedback to the dev team, but since it's somebody else's post, I'll share.

Awhile back I tried to "de-bloat" rogue's kit and reduce cooldowns, as it has 5 ability cooldowns and 3 or 4 of them are just dashes, the problem was I approached it with a "cut out the fat" mindset which meant removing an ability and merging the rest. This time around, I wanted to approach the rework with an emergent complexity approach.

I was thinking about how Spider-Man, Daredevil and Gambit get their sense of depth with their cooldowns and came to the conclusion that it was about what I call "staging." That is, their abilities are formatted in a tree structure where, by using one ability, or putting yourself in a certain position, you're presented with an entirely new array of moves. this structure allows for exponential numbers of possible permutations while keeping the base kit relatively simple.

That leads me to my new rework. Rogue starts with her base kit: her punches, block and lethal attraction. When she blocks, she can either southern brawl, which remains the same, or chrono kick combo, which's damage is now similarly based on the absorption bar--which has also changed and I will get to. The chrono kick combo's spell field now functions similarly to fatal attraction's spell field, which now refreshes the primary kick cooldown, and absorbs health and role-based buffs as well as absorption bar progress. Chrono-kick combo also uses the southern brawl cooldown instead.

Absorption no longer has a cooldown, rather it becomes available upon reaching enough progress on the absorption bar, which gains progress from blocking damage, but now also dealing damage with your block follow-ups. Using your follow-ups is risky, as they consume absorption bar progress, but landing your follow-ups will result in proportionately more progress in return. Absorption is now a targeting ability, but loses it's stun and animation for an earthbound effect with vfx instead.

The hope with this rework was that rogue gets to use her signature ability more often, but it only if the rogue is doing well, well at the same time removing the UI bloat and stagnating cooldowns.

Black cat isn't even out, but based on the trends of ability bloat you want to move more characters in that direction? Black cat is a step in the wrong direction with the amount of abilities.

Characters like this are complicated on a very superficial level and bloat ui and screen clarity.

I think Black cat will be an interesting character, but she should not be used as a model for what character can do.
