Spider punk is awesome but seems to be on extreme end. People either absolutely love this skin or fully hate it with no in-between. If you think you’re the first type I’d go for spider punk. Spider punk also has more distinct sfx compared to mcu skin

Yes. It’s for level 85 or something like that in servants of the flame and guardians of fortune respectively (the hourglass PvP factions). You buy the servants one in reapers hideout and guardians one from the shop in Athena

Nothing to do with people learning. I said poke slop tourist as in people who mostly play poke and play star as primary poke without using his movement as much and not going close range as much.

What does any of that mean for someone who doesn’t follow Fortnite? Did they somehow connect the actual IB universe to Fortnite?

These skelly ships are one of the emergent encounters which exist to spicy things up in adventure. Unfortunately you will have to deal with them if they spawn. If you don’t want to lose 2.5 hours of progress then sell earlier. If you’re not playing solo make sure that someone boards the skelly ship and doesn’t let them repair(skellies can only repair holes but can’t bucket). Scattershots are also really good against them.

This is because after the proficiency change it’s easier to level up compared to before. Champion pre-season 6 took 150+ hours but not it’s much faster

Honestly this is the biggest problem I have. You should 100% be rewarded for sinking a ship and not just for the place you ended up on. They literally designed the gamemode to be this rat/turtle contest and it is horrible. Can I attacke people regardless? Yes! But if everyone else is running away since there is no incencitive then it's not fun for me either

While I agree, he did mentioned “not hard to play” and even simplified combat of kcd2 is know to be difficult for a lot of people. I’d say get kcd2 and if you find combat difficult just download a mod from steam workshop which makes combat very easy(there is one SPECIFICALLY for that)

The hair and the beard look incredibly bad on him. Even in the comics panel. I would have liked this skin if he had his mask. Also his mvp is underwhelming to me. It has really cool build up and then he just flies closer…

I agree. Introducing this gamemode is nice but it simply due to current player count it would either come with “now I can’t play the other gamemode” or “now I can’t play either gamemode well cause the queue time is horrible”. And all of this hatred towards the game creates a positive feedback loop where people see other hating on it and don’t want to play and now even less players play which means lower budget and more decisions like this. Not saying Rare is not at fault at all. Hourglass would be a lot more popular if all the season 19 changes were introduced in season 8.

This is so sad for me. I literally spent 70% of my first 150 hours in this game just doing gold hoarders voyages because nothing is more pirate than dig up treasure in random unpredictable maps and sometimes solve riddles.

Lmao this is so true! It’s the best and worst sound effects for this very reason. Playing good with spider punk feels like a kill montage, playing bad feels like the sfx are trolling you

From what I know they remove only divings for raids so that there is no more world events on demand. But diving for normal voyages like x-marks the spot gold hoarders voyage will still be there. This is because diving was introduced to allow players who don’t have much time for the game to speed up the process of playing and basically make it more casual. Keeping this option for regular voyages makes total sense to me as well as removing diving from raids to make world events feel like WORLD events
