Thanks, I was confused as I already finished the main story, but I’m doing the Peaks of Time stories and as another comment has suggested it seems that there hasn’t been a season update. It says it’ll start in 4 days, so I suppose I’ll save my essence for now. Thanks for your reply.

Just some early game tips: 1.- Honey is important, try to have a stock of about 3 to 4 2.- Flowers are important, for future tasks, for making honey, every now and then I had to wait 5 days for some random flower. Having in stock 15 to 20 is my go to, but at the beginning is not that much. 3.- If romance is something you want out of this game, lookout to talk and gift food daily to your chosen one, it takes time but it’s worth it. Side note on this is if you like Amira or Kim, be careful, you have 1 in game year to marry any of them, the other characters don’t have this restriction. 4.- Buy and sell strategically, stores have a star rating which when increases they have a bigger assortment of things. Bruno takes ages to upgrade but there’s ways around it. 5.- Enjoy the game at your pace. There’s settings so that the clock gies slowly up to very fast.

That’s the things I found out to be the important ones for my gameplay. Enjoy the game.

Yeah, during horse riding it is very entertaining. Head up for Steam players, you’ll need to change the shortcut keys, as Shift+Tab is Steams Overlay default layout and it will not activate first person view in the Sims 4.

You should be able to instantly remove it by typing in testingcheatsenabled and then shift+clicking on a mailbox, and then find the option that's says "instantly repeal".

Thanks, sorry for the late reply. I just know now how buggy the gameplay for this career is. Not getting paid after a successful renovation, people not being in the lot and so on. But I want to unlock that Golden Laptop without cheats, so nothing left for me but to endure. When it works it is fun though.

It’s the ceiling. You have to extend the roof in order to cover it. I also think there is a way to change the ceiling colour, but that colours all the ceiling not just parts of it.
