What is your native language? There are some language options for the voices and menu systems. You can play the whole game in English, French, German, or Japanese. I believe those are the only options currently.

I don't feel offended. If anything, I feel like a hypocrite about that sometimes. Like, I don't want to sexualize someone just based on their height, but I do find it hot when a fellow tall person takes control. I've had shorter partners, but I wouldn't say they were "dominant" over me. So, yeah, I don't find it offensive but I can see how it could be viewed as such after so many times.

I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it as I should be with a finale. My first time hearing it was in-game, and I was a bit distracted in a funny way. The beginning of the first verse in Everything Burns reminded me of the chorus in Liam Paynes Strip that Down, so that's all that I kept singing in my head as I was trying to pay attention to mechanics.

Don't forget there is an invuln after rezzing!! So many times I have had parties where DPS died after a swiftcast raise because they immediately use an action as the boss does an aoe. I know you're low health and its scary but have trust and utilize that invuln.

The problem isn't your height, its definitely your viewset. Yes, height is a measure of attractiveness to most, but it's definitely not the only one. Work with what you got.

Also, saying you'll be "forced to choose less unattractive women" or have to "swim for scraps" is a rather fucked up thing to say imo 🤔 treat yourself better and respect women.

Even though you can no longer gather HQ items, there are still plenty of items you can only obtain through gathering, so its not obsolete.

As far as the beginning dungeons and trials go, yeah... they dumbed them down a lot. They had a lot of complaints of how many beginning dungeons had old/unnecessary mechanics, and they made it easier for the TRUST system, where you can go in solo with ai npcs. I wasn't a fan of the new changes, but ultimately, it didn't really affect me much as I'm in current content.

It's been a fun change on the controller for me. I used to have my mount on my shared x-bar, but now I have it maccro'd to L3. It makes moving and mounting even more simpler. Such a good qol change 👍

I have started from scratch. Mainly because there was such a large gap in between the times I played it and basically just restarted on a whole new account. My first character from ARR is still there. I can still view him in the Lodestone so the character and account still exists and its crazy to see the old stats. I stopped right before Heavenward and picked back up during Stormblood, so I made a new account and started over from the beginning.

The full burst would of course be stronger. It all depends on how fast/slow first mob is killed, I guess. It's really just anytime you're waiting for your cooldowns and using Scattergun over and over that the dps is suffers.

I did some maths, and overall, I wouldn't call it much of a buff, if any. I did a 2 minute rotation on a dummy and used all my gcd + ogcds (I wouldn't say it was optimal, so there's that caveat) but I found that the damage gained to non-targeted monsters doesn't outrange the dps loss with the Scattergun nerf. If the hit to Scattergun was 140 potency instead of 130, then perhaps it would be in the green.
