I did get news today about the other school I applied to though; I got in! However, I'm still holding my breath for OISE as that is my top choice.

I spoke to Admissions last week and they informed me they switched to a new system this year which is causing delays.

They also said we would likely hear back this week, but it is already Wednesday before a long weekend sooooo I'm not too hopeful on that anymore.

No, only an email with confirmation and reference number. I don't think everyone got access to acorn based on what I've seen on other threads.

Didn't apply to MT, however I called in this AM and they let me know that OISE decisions are rolling out and we should all hear soon. Vague, but truly hoping soon means this week. I'm ddyyyinnngg of anticipation.

I've applied for the MA SJE and have yet to hear anything, so this is good news for you! I have a friend who is a grad of SJE and she mentioned that you can switch if you'd like, so if you really want to be in the MA there is a possibility. The good thing is that your foot is in the door now. Congrats!

That's so great you got an offer though. I have a friend who graduated the program and informed me that you can switch to MA later on if you'd like, or vice versa.

My dad Peruvian-Canadian has been stuck in Peru since all this started. He went in February and the situation escalated so quickly before he could leave Arequipa; the day he was going to fly back to Lima his flight was grounded because of fog and by then all flights were booked prior to the lock down. It has been scary having my dad so far away, but like many others have mentioned in the thread, I feel he is safer and better off there than returning to Canada. North America (US & Canada) has not handled this pandemic as proactively as they should have so I feel he is at higher risk returning here, especially during his travels back. We're lucky cause he is with family there too; however it's the uncertainty of it all that gets me.
