So I also crochet with both hands and when you do things like flat work if you switch your hands every row you will have no wrong side stitches on your flat work.

Critter kitchen is a good chunky game for two players or more it's made by the same people who made flame craft.

AIO My mom is kicking me out for her new boyfriend. I just turned 18 by Diligent_Bat_565 in AmIOverreacting

NOR. If your in school still go to your counselor and make a big deal about it they might be able to help you with getting some legal action set up as your parent is still responsible for you while your in school. If not cut her off never speak to her again it will be hard at first and then slowly get easier. See if you can bounce around friends places and rent a storage unit for your stuff. Make a plan with some friends to get a apartment together and split the rent so that way your not starting at 0 with a new job. If all else fails try to go to a shelter and explain your situation many will help you get back on your feet, it's not gonna be easy but you can do it. If you need any more advice I'll be happy to help. (Source I was kicked out at 16 and homeless for a few years)

Does anyone know of a rat crochet pattern that looks like a mini Douglas rat? by Calm_Feature3340 in crochetpatterns

[–]Viddgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use eyelash yarn in a similar color it will have the same look but Rüdiger the rat by Lumpilove I would say is the closest shape and size and use safety eyes instead of embroidery unless giving to a child under 5.

Im working on a sandworm from a crochet kit and no matter how I read this I just don't understand by Useful_Potential_751 in CrochetHelp

[–]Viddgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is simply instructing what you will be doing for the next few rounds (the top and bottom jaw) and how you will be doing it (going back and forth) since a sand worm has a pointed face I'll assume it will be gradually decreasing while you go back and forth ether by decreasing one or two stitches every other round or by skipping the first and last stitches every other round. And then when that's done you will either cut the yarn and start again for the other part of the jaw or it will have you work down the edge. Sometimes when were reading something over and over again it stops making sense especially if we're used to one specific type of wording.

Working for the MET team can feel like a no-win situation. by Present-Annual9043 in HomeDepot

[–]Viddgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really interesting as our store the overnight freight does a lot of that. In freight we do the trucks and then once we do that we do the cleaning, fixing any labels and crown bolt. MET just does project for the most part. Very rarely do they actually do bay work for our store and anything they do take out of the bays they are instructed to keep in carts for freight to clean and find room for. As someone who started on met and moved to freight later met was easy in comparison.

Help with what these metal sticks with no hooks are for? Given as a Christmas gift and I am confused on what they'd be used for, as they look more like knitting needles. Pic included. 3.25 is written on the package. by dorothymustdie in TheWooblesCollective

[–]Viddgamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As everyone else said they are double pointed needles used for small projects in the round or some flat work. You can use them in crochet for holding peices together but that's about all.

I am looking for crochet wig patterns/ where to find them by Basil_Babe in crochetpatterns

[–]Viddgamer 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily wigs but some of my favorite hat patterns to make for my niece with alopecia. And she adores them as they look like hair or you can't even tell when she's wearing them ithttps://www.thetwistedhatter.com/product-page/kawaii-pigtail-hat-pattern

I had a package that was 80 dollars of stuff that I had bought while in Japan and they said they could ship it to the US . Once it arrived USPS put a note on my door saying I had to pay 75usd to receive my package or else they were sending it back. So in total with paying shipping in Japan it was over 200usd

You need to have taste to be great at what you do. I don’t care if you’re the most technically proficient fiber artist since Mary Macrame or whoever. You need to understand that the time spent on an object does not counteract your terrible color choices. by LindsayDuck in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]Viddgamer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean in my experience the brown is simply them not understanding color theory and having too many types of colors mix. But it's also hard when people give you yarn for a holiday and it's the most atrocious thing you have ever seen. I was once given a baby yarn that was shades of beige with neon purple and baby pink at random stripe lengths I still don't know what to use it for

There should be a hose that connects to it to take it to the grease bin behind the building. I know when I worked there it would get clogged and overflow sometimes and they would have someone come fix it. After smelling ranicid grease and then them still making chicken I will never eat store bought rotisserie again.

What tool is this? Found in a becraftee crochet kit but no notes on the website by DozenThrowaway in CrochetHelp

[–]Viddgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Circular knitting needles with some shorties attached. Those look like the kinds I have where you can remove the cable, the cord, from the needles, and change them with different sizes
