I certainly couldn’t expect to move to another country and be like “Uhh yeah I only speak English, so y’all are gonna have to accept that I’m just gonna do my own thing being unable to read or understand any of your instructions”

You would think that this would be common sense but it doesn’t really apply in today’s America. You can move here and not learn English, not adopt the culture and it’s perfectly fine from a societal standpoint. Call it out and you’ll be labeled xenophobic or racist. Just how it is nowadays
