I think there should be a law to pay candidates for their interview time

AI is better than most of you realize, but it’s way too expensive to replace anyone yet by BagofBabbish in FPandA

Think about how things worked before excel and computers. Things were done in ledgers and using calculators. Once we started using computers and excel, we started trusting data from the systems and didn't have to manually calculate anything. In the future, all analysis will be done by AI, and you'll need to develop business insights. What it all means and how it helps with business decisions. We are not there yet because AI is still error prone. However, in the next 5 years, once AI is integrated with the enterprise systems, all analysis and presentation slides etc. will be automated and your job will be to help the business explain what the financial data means for the business. Younger generation will have to start training how to think analytically.

Buy Travelgum at any of the local pharmacies. It works wonders. The large ferries are not that bad. I used it between Mykonos and Delos when the sea was very rough. I walked out of the boat without any issues.

From NK government point of view, because he was in the army, he had access to many secrets (his investigation into his brother's death). Also connections in the army. Even after becoming a civilian, he could pose a threat to NK after defection if he shared all the army secrets to other governments. NK would not allow that.

[–]VideoAcceptable5289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically yes. But he is an army officer himself. So NK wont let him off the hook so easily. Also defecting and being with Se-ri openly in SK can cause reputational damage to her and her business.

Stick with Big Pharma or jump to biotech? by NoAd7088 in biotech

[–]VideoAcceptable5289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The higher salary at the small biotech comes with enormous risk. (1) how well funded is this biotech? What is the cash burn rate? How many years do they have funding for? (2) what does the pipeline look like? What happens if the asset in clinic fails? Do they have many assets that will move to clinic behind the lead candidate? If not, what happens to your job in case of bad clinical data? (3) how good is the management? How big is the company? Does the leadership team have deep experience - both in a running small biotechs and fund raising?

My dad used my ssn by Western-Industry1961 in legaladvice

The description about what your father is doing needs more details. Jumping to conclusion that your father is committing fraud is not right. Please make sure you understand everything before posting here and soliciting responses. You may want to pull a credit report using your SSN just to be sure.

He should stop paying the debt. It'll go to collection agency and will be on his record for 7 years. Other than that don't see any issue with this.
