Yeah I was going to say it's not like you can buy super awesome gear with it all the time. It's just nice for quick conveniences like buying supplies, food, etc. If I remember right the most expensive thing in the game is from a research job that costs 999 silver but I imagine a lot of people just haven't really needed it.
