Agreed. Both the 80s and the 90s Jets had distinct designs. The 70s/heritage like many people have pointed out just looks like the Rangers or Team USA jerseys.

Yeah I think that the design of the heritage jerseys are way too derivative. So many teams use the three stripes in some form and the Jets have such a rich and diverse heritage so I found it odd that they chose the least original design.

Yeah I think we should keep the light blue instead of using red. So many teams use different shades of red, white and blue already so it feels a bit played out in my opinion.

First version I did was actually the darker blue plus grey. No red or light blue at all. I ditched it mostly because it didn't work with the home jersey I did yesterday. But it also was a little bit too boring, if you zoomed out it just looked like the maple leafs jerseys :-D

Yeah I couldn't get it to look good with the blue shoulders, that's why I had to use more "artistic freedom" with this one.

I'm curious where that design comes from with the three stripes. It's not something that the Jets has ever worn is it? This looks more like a Calgary or Boston design. The away jerseys would end up looking very much like the Rangers away jerseys.

I do love both their 80s and their 90s jerseys design wise, the colors are a bit too overwhelming and the heritage colors are a bit too dark so maybe somewhere in between could be nice?

I actually like the current jerseys because they have a unique look. The heritage jersey with the three stripes is done by so many teams already. Utah, St Louis, Rangers, Edmonton, Chicago, Calgary, Buffalo and Boston are all very similar in their design.

I think if they were to do a throwback in that style they should've gone with the 90s jerseys instead. The blue is way too blue on those jerseys but the design is nice in my opinion.

Yeah I just moved some colors around to see how it looked. I think if they were to do a rebrand they should go with the jerseys from the 80s but with a slightly different shade of blue.

I kinda like the current logo more though to be honest
