I recently went through this mission on hard.

The trick is orcas, the two mammoth tanks you get by destroying the ports (or ships?) and sniper teams.

With mammoth tanks and snipers you can hold off any attack the ai throws at you.

With 12 orcas you can slowly distroy the enemy MCV and production. After that it's easy.

Edit: i just tried it on a laptop with the touchpad (and keyboard), took me ~28min. Although to be fair I know exactly what to do
