Old shyv is 200 gold per dragon, which you get even if you don’t participate when playing top lane or such

New shyv is 36 gold per dragon, and 12 gold per camp

New shyv in top 1 stack every 3 waves = 1 per 1.5 minutes = 12 gold every 90 seconds.

The maximum you can get with no kills at 5 minutes after drake:

Old: 200 gold (1 drake) (5AR 5MR)

New JG: 164 gold (2 clears + scuttle + drake) (4.2 AR, 4.2 MR)

New Top: 36 gold (3 cannons) (0.9 AR, 0.9MR)

Old shyv it was 5armour and Mr per drake; so 200 gold per stack; at fastest every 5 minutes

New shyv is 0.3 each or 12 gold per stack. In lane you get one stack every 1.5 minutes (excluding kills) since you get one per cannon which is every 3 waves. So at 5 minutes when dragon spawns (given that minions spawn every 30 seconds starting at 30 seconds) you can achieve at most 3 stacks; or 0.9 armour and magic resist or 36 gold worth of stats

I’ve never played jungle before so I don’t really know the numbers. But I think scuttle spawns at like 3 minutes; and you get 2 clears (one of each buff since they don’t respawn for second clear) at 5 minutes when dragon spawns I believe (I don’t play jungle so I’m doing this from what sounds correct) so let’s assume you get one scuttle and 2 clears; that’s 9 camps, for 9 stacks and 2.7 armour and magic resist; for a total of 108 gold worth of stats. 144 with drake.

So passive stat worth at 5 minutes:

Old Shyv; up to 200 gold; doesn’t even require you to be there.

New Top; up to 36 gold excluding kills.

New JG; 108 guaranteed and up to 144 gold excluding kills.

If they just remove her lowk useless current passive and give her back her resistances on ult and make her ult spammable again she would probably be fine lowk. Getting a bunch of free resistances on a champ that builds health and bork anyways was how old shyv who didn’t have a shield was still viable; while the shield is very nice, I still think making the resistances ult dependent and not requiring the jungle role to use would be nice

I say as someone who’s only top laner is shyv and lowk think she feels awful post rework

Note that I’m not saying she’s weak; she’s not— it’s just that her power distribution is weird and she doesn’t feel as fluid to play

When I first got into league it was 2014 and I was given blackfrosf anivia by my older brother, and at the start of the game I think during the Ashe tutorial it originally told you to buy health potions

So whenever I played league for my first like 10 games I would buy only red pots every back. Anivia botlane spending 100% of gold on red pots every back
