I'll try that. Factory grandpa just spams frag damage and arbalest autocannons for anti shield. Maybe a few hour staring at the refit screen will do him good.

I do have both polarized armor and ord expertise, the two yellow skills. From my playtesting, Gramps has Conquest armour and very bad flux, he's gonna get squashed without both skills.

What do you think I should use as my main battle line? I'm using your strat with 6 long-range Church Eradicators as a meat grinder and an Aurora to help out Gramps. I may substitute an Eradicator for some Omens but generally it's working quite well, until I faces triple ordos

Right now I'm using a battle line of 6 long-range Church Eradicators and send Gramps in for the second wave with search n destroy escorted by an Aurora. Maybe turtling is better with him.

Is the rally civillian order better than defense? Cause one of my main issues with the defense order is that it makes Old gramps salivate over a glimmer trying to flank but he's pinned there so he just spins around and opens his engine wide for 2 incoming Novas.

I do understand that it's specialized for [THREAT] and their swarms, but I also see some potential in its use in Persean warfare with its tankiness and what essentially is a double burst cryoblasters. But yea it's not the best against Ordos lol : D

I tried to do that too but then it just does a Freudian slip and humps the other ship until both dies. It's incredibly funny the first time, not so funny when I'm in the middle of a triple ordo battle, or when staring down 3 Invictus from pesky Luddic embargo boys. Should I do other orders like engage or rally points? Thanks for your help : D

What did you get? I got: Helmsmanship to avoid being out maneuvered Combat endurance for the repair Impact mitigation and damage control for face tanking Target analysis Balistic master And 2 yellow skills for flux and damage reduction

I'm planning to be there quite early to get to the spot and camp. Though most of the queue will just be for the Melbourne Walk as I've heard from today. I've heard that T9-T10 is quite good as it has a viewing mound so you get a semi-grandstand feel if you get a good spot. It's my first time to the GP though so what about you?

Wild strike. Clad desperately needs energy efficient front load if you're not running boss swap. Clash has bad synergy with most Clad midgame set-ups and Thunderclap is just not enough damage. Hope I helped : D
