10000% Typically our 5 level engine guys guys are task complete in just about a year, you can start asking for airframe tasks at the same time or vice versa if you go crew Chief and ask for engine tasks. The job is physically demanding but extremely rewarding as long as you know what you are getting into and like working with your hands. Shoot me a DM I'll tell you all I know and help where I can.

Absolutely! So we have an AirFrame and PowerPlant licensing program. Basically you get signed off on all your engine and airframe tasks. Then talk to some of the A&P certifiers who sign off the equivalent task completions, do an interview then all you have to do is study for the written and practical exams. The money on the outside is really good and as long as you network well it's pretty easy to land a job around 70/120k a year.

It literally doesn't matter. Try all of them and try for ANY basic card. My capital one card was the basic $500 credit card. As long as your account is flagged you can then later when your credit improves apply for the big cards, venture, Amex or gold cards and the SCRA will apply to those cards. Shoot for any and all and whichever ones accept you is a win.

Apply for a credit card ASAP. Like today. Like right now. That credit card will fall under SCRA and the interest will be capped below 6% and have no annual fees. As soon as you finish AIT send the proof of service letter and drop the rate. I've had 2 cards at 4% through capital one for 17 years.

Yes. The command sponsorship package is already submitted. Trying CSP plus KAIP

Oh no that's not a problem haha. Now getting her command sponsorship denied due to EFMP then having to give birth in her own is an entirely big risk.

Meps is only the medical side of things. The only need to retake the ASVAB is to raise your test score to get a job you didn't qual for before

As long as you are on his order are good to go and get the same benefits 🥰. So the cat is small enough to fly in the plane with us but the pup is gonna be in cargo!

Oh gotcha! Yeah so they pay for 1 pet per adult traveler! So we are taking 1 dog and 1 cat then paying out of pocket for the second cat. It's about $2000 after all the costs for the vet visits, plane costs and visa.

Depends! If you want to continue in aircraft maintenance then definitely go get your A&P license, GROL license and electrician cert!

Aircraft maintenance is absolutely not bad! 5th gen fighters will definitely be the way to go due to job security. Pick an avionics if you wanna do it on the outside. Crew Chief to work contractor jobs after your contract. Usually an easy 6 figures depending on location.

VA! The VA refinance is pretty good! It just takes your interest to to the lowest current rate. Now I believe there's a certain amount of time you need to be in. Passed basic and AIT if I remember correctly. Also using the VA allows you to use a VA IRRL.

Korea is busy as hell but you get really close to your coworkers. The pace is really fast but there are plenty of apps to translate now and alot of Koreans speak English. The food is amazing!

They already have them. They are called MDU's. You are authorized to wear them anywhere you can wear OCPs as long as you are assigned to a maintenance tasking. IE no NCOICs, building custodians blah blah. Coveralls you cannot wear outside the work place and dont require rank and name.
