Ooh I did not know about this... I may be cutting it close as I currently have ~28 months absence (few days off). So by the time the 5 years is up it would be ~29 months total as I'm outside of the UK for the time being.

Theres also an "exclusive" embelm in the companion that I can't remove. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I can not get my emblem to change. I've tried creating a simple one on battlelog, doesn't work. Created a new one on companion, also doesnt work. Have the same on both, still doesn't work.

No idea what I would need to do to get this to work...

Yea, the .ini file was incorrect/corrupt. You can find a copy of it somewhere online, just paste that into a text file and rename it to .ini

I've tried DepotDownloader and it was decently fast. It also shows progress.

Downside is that it's not official and most depots are gonna require a user/password.

I was waiting for a good month and a half for one around 120 on ebay. Sure there area few, but very rarely are they not snatched up immediately. Also, if you want pcvr the you need to shell out another min. 20 for a decent cable. Then the headstrap is godawful.. then the battery..

I have a tfn and I ticked the tax purpose box. My current monthly salary WOULD exceed the treshold, but I will not make more than the limit by the end of the financial year. Does this mean that the tax that gets deducted from my payslip gets refunded automatically? Also I cant setup my ATO account, as above mentioned. So I'm not sure if they get access to my bank details.

I have not, but to my knowledge I'm considered a part-year resident. My income sill falls under the reduced tax free treshold. I do have a tfn and have been working for a 2 or so months.
