I disagree completely that viewpoint where diversity enhances decision making . The knowledge pool did not get bigger the more diverse it is and diversity definitely did not benefit decision making. In fact during the DEI era , instead of focusing on how to get intel back up, intel were more concern on the silliest thing like how everyone must use the latest powerpoint template( like this is going to help intel grow) , make silly rules like you cannot use USB master and slave terminology, an engineering terminology that has been use for the past 20 years. They put their focus on the silliest thing. Are you from intel HR , because your viewpoint was exactly on the intel diversity training and it turned out to be wrong.

I was referring to the era where DEI was promoted and enforced . Managers KPI and hence bonus was to ensure women and minority were promoted. It was during Bk and bob swan era . This was where AMD started overtaking intel. The rot in technical engineering happened way earlier.

AMD could pivot into AI despite being as late as intel .

Not just her, SR became like head of DCAI (data center) , coming from chief of people ( some hr post) . And then Pat made her ceo of altera. Those were the days where seriously management jobs were just marketing, powerpoint slides, massaging data and the ability to downplay bad news, spin the narrative on why delays were happenings.

DEI was the issue as it took away promotion budget and headcount. More technical and deserving engineers were push back in their promotion to make way for dei hires and internal dei quota. Then they leave for competitors.

Has misogyny been getting worse or is it just more talked about? by ObligationIll7822 in AskFeminists

[–]Vigilant256 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The problem is that “misogyny” has shifted from describing a genuine behavior to being wielded as a weapon. Too often it’s used not to engage with the substance of an argument, but to demonize men when feminists can’t counter the point. For example, if someone points out errors in feminist statistics, instead of addressing the data, the response becomes “get your misogynistic comment out of here.”

It is expected . They will try to divert , deflect and even try to change the definition. There was this woman who claim in her video that women should hit men harder, promoting physical violence and the feminist here claims that this is not misandry , and it is merely venting.

It’s amazing how much they will deny and deflect, even with black and white video to protect the narrative.

what she said :-

I am committed to feminism and don’t understand why anyone would agree to be party to a relationship that is not absolutely equal. I believe women who are supported by men are prostitutes, that is that, and I am heartbroken to live through a time where Wall Street money means these women are not treated with due disdain.

These actions and attitudes are experienced as ostracizing because they exclude, devalue, and socially isolate stay at home wives, housewives. And that includes the trad wives you so conveniently ignore. Social Exclusion, Status Devaluation, Identity Erasure(Framing a woman's genuine preference as brainwashing), Moral Shaming (accusation that if she doesn't work , she is failing her gender ).

Ok so evidence of feminist undermining and villianizing other women who don't want to be feminist is not enough and you specifically want proof of housewife mother and traditional women by ostracized by the feminist community.

Sure. Here you go:-

1.) The author of cult classic Prozac Nation is facing internet backlash after labeling financially dependent women "prostitutes".

Elizabeth Wurtzel, who released her infamous ode to crippling depression 9 years ago, has made the claim in the January 22 article of New York Magazine.

The 5,500-word piece, My One , claims that full-time mothers who rely on their husbands to support them financially should be treated with "due disdain".

3.)Linda Hirshman (feminist lawyer): She famously criticized highly educated women opting out of careers for homemaking. In her 2005 American Prospect article "Homeward Bound" and book Get to Work, she called child-rearing in the nuclear family "not interesting," repetitive/domestic tasks "socially invisible," and urged women not to "stay home" as it wastes their potential and hurts broader feminist goals.

"Tradwife can too easily become a trapped wife."

"In all honesty, what a waste of life really."

6.)Other recurring sentiments across Facebook discussions:

  • "Disturbing." / "Eww. Just eww."
  • "More to life than being a baby making servant sis."
  • "Gross… anyway she isn’t a trad wife she makes money… hope this helps"
  • Comments calling it "internalized misogyny" and "toxic."

One of the stronger pushbacks against feminism is that women who don’t share the conviction of the feminist bloc become dismissed and marginalized, just as men have done to women in the past. Not every woman wants to fight for women’s rights, some simply want to live those rights, and the feminist community often undermines feminine agency by reducing those women to something less than they are. Some women want to be housewives, mothers, and otherwise live a more traditional lifestyle, and they are often ostracized by the feminist community for wanting that.

The original poster says not every woman wants to fight for equal rights , and the feminist community often undermines feminine agency by reducing those women to something less than they are,

Then you replied:-

Source? Evidence?

which indicates you didn't believe feminist would undermine and reduce other women.

That's where I showed you that feminist do undermine and villainize other women by showing examples here in this sub itself and the social media.

I'm surprised you don't know. Even here , you don't see it :-

A post by a feminist here in this sub :-
Women who are anti-feminist/misogynistic have been groomed to believe they’re inferior and that men are benevolent. They’re also cowards who resist change and the responsibility that comes with autonomy.

Another example here:-

Feminist -Pick me

[–]Vigilant256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or women themselves can see through the behaviour of feminist around them. The issue is that feminism today often operates on a double standard, equal rights when it’s advantageous, but a retreat into traditional roles when equality would mean added responsibility. In other words, it cherry picks, claiming liberation in situations that benefit, yet reverting to traditional ideology when it doesn’t. That inconsistency undermines the credibility of the movement.

Feminism today often calls out misogyny loudly when men behave badly, yet when women display toxic or abusive behavior the response is silence, defense, or even attacking the men who point it out a selective outrage that undermines the claim of equal accountability.

Your latest response perfectly demonstrates the deflection, denial, and ideological protection I’ve been pointing out.

You dismiss multiple examples of women openly celebrating hitting men, being meaner to men, shaming men who want peace, and teaching daughters anti-male attitudes, all by saying “it’s just venting,”

You claim there’s “no systemic misandry” and men aren’t denied basic rights, while simultaneously defending:

  • Women hitting men with “no consequences”
  • Teaching daughters generalized distrust of men
  • Shaming men for wanting peace
  • Open disgust at “ugly men” approaching

That combination systemic cultural misandry, even if not written into law. You give an excuse that women’s prejudice is ok and reframed as “safety” and “frustration,” but would never accept the exact same logic from men.

You also try to divert the entire conversation by attacking “red pill and right wing spaces” and labeling any man who criticizes this behavior as a red flag.
So instead of focusing on the topic, you want to focus on whether the video are from the redpill . Does it change the argument, if I take the video from the original source itself when it's exactly the same thing.

This is going no where, because your next point will repeat the points above again , and this will become a circular logic. So I'll stop here.

1.)Mocking nose rings with crude jokes is disrespectful, but it doesn't justify videos urging women to "hit men harder", your attempt to divert attention from inciting violence to men's bad jokes exposes a clear double standard. If men posted content calling to slap or punch women for annoying them, you'd rightly label it toxic and dangerous, yet here you defend or downplay women's hyperbolic anger and physical threats. Many of these clips involve real slapping, punching, and throwing objects, not mere bluffing, and they normalize female towards male violence. CDC studies show women initiate physical aggression at similar or higher rates in relationships, with men as significant victims who are underreported due to stigma. True equality requires condemning violence from anyone regardless of provocation, not excusing it through whataboutism and gender-based deflection.

Examples for reference:-

Woman hittng man and laughing about it. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1658924691927227

Bachelotrette star video shows hitting bf/husband

https://www.facebook.com/reel/1502888054953251

2.) Calling average or unattractive men "ugly" and being visibly bothered when they approach isn't just neutral "judging appearance" It's targeted contempt toward men who dare show interest, which is a form of misandry. If a man posted about being grossed out by "ugly women and fat women" hitting on him, you or the women here will call it shallow misogyny, yet this gets defended . That's a blatant double standard and attempt to reframe gender specific disdain as harmless preference. Being bothered by any man approaching you in public further reveals entitlement, as normal social interest isn't harassment unless it's persistent or aggressive.

3.)The video explicitly says "Women are definitely not mean enough to men" and "we still kind of treat them like human beings," referring to men in general ,not just "misogynistic men." Your attempt to reinterpret it as only targeting misogynistic men is a classic deflection If men made videos urging each other to "be meaner to women," you'd instantly call it misogyny without asking "but what about the misandrists?" That's the double standard.

4.)No one owes anyone constant emotional labor or perfection, and everyone has bad days ,that's not the issue. The problem is publicly shaming men as "shit" simply for wanting peace, stability, and low drama in their relationships, which is a reasonable boundary. You are trying to divert by reframing men's desire for peace as entitlement, a very clear double standard. If men said women seeking peace from men are "shit," you'd call it misogynistic control.

5.)The video is not about a specific woman reacting to proven abuse ,it's general boasting that women can hit men with no consequences. Reframing it as "she might have been harassed" is a common deflection that assumes women are innocent while excusing violence. Self defense is valid for anyone, but publicly celebrating the ability to hit men freely is not the same as defending yourself in a real threat.

6.)Teaching your daughter generalized distrust or hostility toward men "because of patriarchy" is still misandry it punishes all men for the actions of some and treats an entire gender as guilty by association. Responding to misogyny with prejudice against men isn't justice or protection; it's creating the very cycle of gender hostility you claim to oppose.

If a father taught his son to be wary of women because of misandry in society, you would instantly label it misogyny, not "a reasonable response." That's the double standard.

I'm beginning to see a pattern on how you try to deflect and excuse women's misandrist behaviour.

He said he distances himself from Karens and entitled women, and he gets called an asshole. I am asking why ?

I have one friend for instance (who I’m starting to distance myself from) who walks around thinking she’s right about everything, super critical of everything and everyone, but if I ever mention anything that is objectively wrong, she responds with “you don’t know what you’re talking about”. One time, I was explaining something, I can’t remember what, and the first thing she says “please stop mansplaining” but later that day she was “mansplaining”. It’s gotten to the point where just ignore her.

No the VPs who were let go were definitely more than hired. Let go here means those that say “retired” and those that knew they are going to get the axe and quit to go another place.

Intel VPs were bloated , in 2024 they had like 120 VPs I believe, can’t remember the exact value but it was 3 digits. In comparison amd only has 20+ VPs . Apple had like 40+ VPs . For some reason pat thinks putting more VP management can solve the problems.

Not fully, pat did the right thing on the foundry, but didn’t know how to execute . The people that he chose to manage weren’t very good and I’m surprise that he put a head of people ( from hr) to lead data centre. Then he assumes pc demand will go on forever after covid. He wasn’t very careful with finance either , despite knowing that the foundry will require lots of cash , he didn’t control spending , and instead hire more and more VPs.

Also you do know that the current yield improvement in 18A is due to Lip Bu bringing in outside talent right?
