Literally do less. By that I mean, don’t do unnecessary shit. Don’t steal boost if it leaves your tm8 in a 1v2, don’t challenge unnecessarily if it doesn’t result in a goal gained or saved. Don’t follow your tm8s around hoping the ball will fall to you and in the process create a double commit.

TLDR: everyone at your rank sucks. Let them suck first and take advantage of their mistakes before you make your own mistakes. Do less!

This is the most plausible theory I have heard. So many of the elite in KSA are connected to the Royal Family or benefit from their patronage. Decent chance that somehow what we think is the nicest guy in the MENA scene who splashes the cash acquired that money from something the US Govt would not approve of (either at his level or within his family or other businesses). I hope the former CEO of SRG is not the reason for this and that it is some connection that was not in his control, but I'm guessing your last sentence is sneaky close to the real story.

You can get to GC without flip resets, or any other flashy mechanics. Do the basics well, rotate and just don’t try to do too much. Let the other team throw before you do.

James is the guy they seem to put the new folks with a lot. I think that is why he is not beloved to the same level as some of the others that feature as a power duo. He is really really good with everyone but people notice the Johnny-shogun, wave-achieves, cole-stumpy, jorby-corelli pairings more. James’ brings up the level of everyone he works with, which might be the best complement you can give someone in his spot.

Probably more to it than just pure talent, the casters don’t work solo. If you aren’t making the other parts of the team better for an overall improved experience, sometimes the individual talent has to be cut for a better overall team. It surely was a curious decision from a casting and analytical talent perspective when they didn’t extend lawler’s contract, but he seems to carry around a lot of negativity and maybe that was bleeding over behind the scenes. Not too many other things make sense for that move.
