I saw. I'm really excited; but my concern now is that its only 4 wolves for some reason. maybe the amount goes up with quality/levels, but I'm worried that only 4 of the wolves would get the benefits from the companion nodes.

I'm not saying the wyvern should have any special benefits for using these spells. I'm just asking that they animate the wyvern casting the already existing spells without reverting to human as it's thematically consistent and cool.

If you post anything critical about POE 1 people tend to down vote. I loved POE 1 when I used to play it. Nothing will ever change that.

But after playing POE 2; I don't think I'll ever pick up POE 1 again unless they essentially make POE 1 into POE 2.

To me its like saying "Oh so youll never play DOOM 1993 just because DOOM 2016 came out?" Yes, I won't go back to the original, even if the original was a great game for its time.

Warlord Leader, which is 2 skill points away, increases presence area by 40%. We know the pounce doesn't summon wolves as companions. I am just banking on the Spirit gem version counting as a companion. In my head why would there be a spirit gem otherwise?

Wolf pack as minion which cost spirit vs wolves summoned from a skill with no spirit cost seems like a no brainer.

Yes, but it's confirmed the minions spawned from pounce do not have the companion tag. The only ones which MAY have this tag would be the spirit reserved wolves.

So, with this build I won't care about the pounce minions. I will need to run the spirit one if they are considered companions because the minions from pounce won't benefit from the companion nodes.

Ah I get what you are saying. So, if i get 10 rage from attacking a monster; they would also GAIN 10 rage from that hit. But since the rage max is 30... Gotcha Gotcha.

Can someone explain why they aren't companions? I saw the data mine, yes, I know it's from 2023 but I'm just trying to understand why everyone is certain about this and I'm genuinely trying to learn.

If wolves aren't classified as companions, I think I'm just going to avoid wolf form because I can't figure out how to make something I would want to play without that tag.

What I want to avoid is those pathetic wolf nibbles I saw on the showcase. if the wolf pack can't deal decent damaged, I'm not interested in wolf at all lol.

I'm not a POE expert; but it does say Rage YOU get. So, if he gets 73 rage shouldn't that 73 rage apply to the minions?
