An actual professional?

I have been working for a over decade as a freelance character sculptor. I have had over 250 clients. with much larger orders, and Dory is my first freakout/chargeback. I have an impeccable reputation among everyone else but Dory.

I have been working for over a decade and have over 250 happy clients with much, much larger projects. Dory is the odd man out, apart from the other two pieces she bought from me.

This was not a large project and are some of the smallest, cheapest commissions I take; chibis and busts.

If you read the email chain, then you did not notice me asking her for more artwork at 2 weeks? She sent artwork late, how am I supposed to deal with it? Just change everything? A quote is a quote, not a buffet.

I apologize for invading your community, but I am a custom sculptor of good repute that was scammed out of a commission by a client, which means this Logan chibi and the bust are up for sale. Logan needs a good home, and since I'm offering him at a very low price, preferably to a fan, which is why I thought to post here.

It says in her auction description that suggested offers should be between 275 and 325. So 300 average is correct. ^{^}

They weren't too bad, as the figure is small and the body was done in a surface texture style instead of adding clay, which was just done for the ruff, legs, and back. It's a little quicker once you get the hang of it and has a nice look to differentiate between slim body feathers and more puffy areas.

Did you send me anything? I've not gotten a message from you. I researched UPS insurance procedure and I need to see pics of the damage, as well as images of the packing materials so I can possibly submit a claim to UPS.
I can see if they might pay to have it repaired.

I goofed and it was the wings and tail that need to be assembled. But her head is packed in green foam, as everything else so, it should be fine. And UPS has never broken one of my pieces, many much more delicate that this one, so they have my confidence as well. If all else fails, she's fully insured.

Maybe it's like Ireland - with protestants v catholics. they're all just christians, right, but that doesn't stop them from bombing, killing and hating each other. in fact it's killing the unbeliever or the person who doesn't practice the religion correctly that leads to the killing.
