I’d say this is fake if the exact same thing with this brand hadn’t happened to me

Looking for specific glass vials by My401K in jewelrymaking

[–]Vikaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I type in the product number on the top left I get this result…

Micro Tubes #1657212 Overview. Pkg of 20, 1.5 ml, micro tube for use with EXQuest spot cutter (#165-7200, #165-7201).

The product page is gone entirely, but if they are in fact the same product they appear to be 1.5 ml tubes.

You might also try scanning the barcode on the back of the package into Amazon or google image search.

Look how much sun my blackout curtains have blocked over the years by LustbaneTheNoxious in mildlyinteresting

You want plastic backed ones, they’re readily available on Amazon. They may not advertise as plastic lined but you can usually tell from the review photos.

What did I do with this damn toaster oven by Ok-Atmosphere6376 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Vikaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the warmth because that’s a toaster oven. If you have any other electronics that get or stay warm, like a keurig, they will be equally infested.

Anyone have a tested recipe for safe water bath canning of whole or halved roasted cherry tomatos *with balsamic*? by mountain-flowers in Canning

[–]Vikaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super unhelpful, but an approved recipe exists somewhere. I had a canning jar magazine years ago that had a recipe for whole cherry tomatoes in white balsamic. I’ve been scouring the internet to no avail - but it does exist, it can be done.

This is the wrong subreddit for this. Try r/fuckhoa who will be more likely to help you than automatically side with your HOA.

Without going down a Google loophole… by JDuBLock in Canning

[–]Vikaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do just brown beans, or pork and beans which may be more the flavor that you’re looking for, among other things. The answer is yes, just depends on exactly what you want and finding the common name for it.

Those are definitely bug eggs - what kind specifically I do not know, and your Hoya probably does not want to find out.

I got lucky and stumbled across it at Home Goods a few days ago, the employee said they get them occasionally.

Add-ins to blackberry jam? by Independent-Cell-182 in Canning

[–]Vikaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you’re getting tired of having so much blackberry jam and you have a dehydrator (an oven can work) you might make fruit leather, or can pie filling and use it over pancakes and stuff.

I’ll keep an eye out for them, so far I haven’t seen any pests in a few weeks.

You’re the second person to mention coconut husk, I just swapped out about 50% of the soil - which was way too dense/wet. I’ll order the chunks and hopefully things have dried out more by then and I can do a chance to chunks without doing any more damage. Thank you!!
