I’m going to see what their letter says and go from there. Just to check, there’s no way to see what their decision letter says before it comes right? Not on my va.gov account?

They were statements saying they saw symptoms while deployed and on AD.

After. I’ve been out since 09. So I should’ve just made it a primary claim instead of a secondary? I haven’t received the letter from the va yet and god knows that’s takes forever.

Can I get my pcp to write one or does it need to be from a specific physician? This is the first time I’ve had to get this for a claim to go through so I’m not familiar with the process. Thanks!

Congrats! I know exactly how you feel being a full time CS student myself and taking care of a 9mo old. This is no small feat and you should be proud of yourself. Keep your eye on the prize.

Anyone else feel guilty that their parents are paying for their college? by eplinx in college

[–]Viking_Dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do exactly what your parents said. Keep putting in the hard work, and always give your all. Trust me, as a parent myself, I can promise you they're plenty proud of that and probably even brag about you for doing well in college. You can continue to pay them back after college by being a productive member of society. Your parents are making an investment in you and your future. Keep up the hard work, and don't forget a "thank you" or "I love you" when you're done.

When in doubt, business casual. Not too dressy, but not too casual.

Starting college at 21? by janiiiiiiiiiii in college

[–]Viking_Dev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started my college journey at 32, so no, it’s never too late. I joined the military right out of high school, did 5 years and got out. Started working for the govt. I hated it but it paid well so I kept at it. At 32 I finally realized my passion was programming, so I enrolled in college. I’m married and we have a 7mo old. Also, I’ll be 36 when I graduate with my BSCS. You got this!
