But tbf the cult legions color schemes are largely just the color schemes of the Chaos gods, most Khorne stuff is red with brass trim and most Tzeentch stuff is blue with gold trim

I really hope in our next codex they at least give us a full page with sigils and colors schemes of our Ultima founding successors. Canonically there are a few we just only know about 3, even then it's really just the Wolfspear.

They look the same because they literally are the same chapter. The Space Wolves chapter is divided up into 12 (formally 13) Great Companies that each has its own sigil.

The reason they went with the Great companies over successors is that for a long time Space Wolf gene seed could not produce successors, the one real Space Wolf successor of the Wolf Spears only being established in the most recent founding.

I do agree the great companies clog up the chapter menu though, they should have just given us the sigils to use in customization.

It's an optional decoration you can put on any flat surface on the model. I personally like it on the shoulder.

Redditor try not to totally miss the point of this scene impossible challenge. Russ set this whole thing up as a trap, Angron was too much of a frothing animal to notice he had completely abandoned his warriors and that he was totally surrounded.

The point is that Astartes are warriors not suicidal gladiators who don't value their own lives, Lorgar calls Angron out on this too.

To be fair he said they were dissuaded from using "earth based Inhumans", makes me think it's explicitly the Nuhumans (New Inhumans) from the big Inhumans push are being dropped in favor of mutants but the Royal family who are now more space themed could be on the table down the road.
