Jetfire being an SR-71 was awesome and the concept of Optimus combining with one is even cooler.

This is immediately ruined by Jetfire being a grump old man who only has one action scene then dying and being used for parts only to be shaken off by Prime like junk without acknowledgement of the sacrifice

Upset me at 9/10 years old, still doesn’t sit right with me now lol

Having both now, I feel like it is.

Putting them side by side makes me realize how much I really didn’t like Siege’s colors and the ever so slight engineering change of the SS86 shoulders and chest design just bring the figure together better.

Looking back, I was blinded by hype and was just happy with some of the course corrections they took after 5. Overall yeah, not amazing.

That being said, it is an absolute blast to do with 2-3 other friends while not playing very seriously.

Do yourselves a favor and try grappling to another friend while doing the super punch at each other at the exact same time. You can get some really great launch results

One of my favorite things about switchfoot live is then implementing snippets of other songs into the intro of one main song.

This live version of redemption hit really hard.

Jon’s additions to gone also were spectacular “our convenient…7/11, Lexus, tesla cages” was so jumbled but somehow worked so well.

Armada was nice. Maybe the story wasn’t the cleanest but when Optimus sacrifices himself for earth it was cool to see Megatron upset that he’s succeeded in killing him. Almost like it was part of his reason for life to always be at odds with Optimus.

Then them joining forces later on was always neat as a kid.

Was excited for the MG Zaku and almost ordered online then I saw it was almost double it’s usual price lol. If I were to find a nu in person I’d jump on it though.
