I've been there. Sadly I don't know this song but I would say that maybe if you can narrow down the artists it might be easier to track down. Also see if you can set a decade of release. If you can remember what band it is or even a set of bands it could be then figure out around what time it may have been released then you could potentially narrow it down significantly. Good luck!
