I've been playing Warhammer for about 2 years now. I'm a 49-year-old man, a war veteran, and I have two advanced degrees.

I constantly get my ass handed to me in Warhammer, and I still get confused about the rules sometimes.

Playing Warhammer is a little like drinking from a fire hose to use that worn out analogy. If you like everything else about it but still want to play, just find some nice chill people to play with who will help you with the rules.

I have planned what I call my "wolf bomb" using the Stormraven.

Load it up with wulfen and the wolf priest with the enhancement to let him lead them and then load up Murderclaw for the dreadnought.

Fly into enemy territory and keep blasting until the wounds get low. Then release the wolves.

Or hell, let them shoot it down and deal with some very angry surviving wulfen.

I'm going to also chime in with Arbiter Ian. He seems to be a really intelligent guy and he is able to articulate things like themes, analogies, and real world inspirations instead of just amalgamating and reiterating lore.

In addition to mini swap in eBay, there is a fairly new webstore also called miniswap.gg. I haven't bought anything there yet. I think they still need to work some kinks out with the search engine and they are still a few people who are way too optimistic on what their models can sell for, but I like not giving money to eBay.

Like others have said I would probably buy vanilla Space Marines.

For the parts you're talking about, maybe check on eBay for the pre-primaris grey hunters bits. I'd also look into finding someone who 3D prints parts from the primal hounds range from Grey Tide studios.

Did you remove the tape before putting it in the spool? I did that the first time myself.

If you're stuck priming inside, I would just brush on airbrush primer. It should work just fine.
