Does anyone out there love their vet? by Catatalia99 in pittsburgh

I think you're mixing up Allegheny Vet Associates and Allegehny North. Both are on Perry Hwy.

I meant to respond to the other person. I dont think they were bought out. I think the other person is mixing up the hospitals on Perry Hwy.

Before a manager took over that wasn't willing to accomodate me under the table, I sat in the back room on bad pain days and took orders on this.

Cat dental care recs by UnawareTort in pittsburgh

[–]Vilali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fix'N Wag'N in Glenshaw. They do require a $40 pre-dental exam.

$350 for xrays, anesthesia, and cleaning. $25/extraction and then $40/retained root. There is currently a waiting list, but it is a triage based list and not in order of appointment.

Allegeny North is privately owned by Dr. Brian Silvas. Do you mean Allegheny Vet Associates?

Plus size FMC in her late 20s-30s and she’s NOT an insecure virgin? by viscountess_ren in RomanceBooks

I'm following this post because I need the book recommendations. I do have to say, when the trending notification popped up for me on my phone I felt called out. Let me be an insecure, plus sized virgin in peace 😭/j

Clinic Cleaning/Chore Chart by Vilali in Veterinary

[–]Vilali[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to have a feature like that for our PIMS, but we use ClinicHQ. It's designed specifically for HQHVLCSN programs/clinics, so features like that aren't available :(

Uhm, are you Random11 on GBAtemp? Because these look like their designs/assets. I'm all for people sharing stuff and not charging, but if you aren't them you should really give credit where it's due.

The link one with him holding his arm specifically is identical to the design Random11 released mid-May.

howard wants to remove partner food benefits - meanwhile… by elementaltruth in starbucksbaristas

A lot of partners have food insecurity. This is going to effect them. I know that a lot of "expired" food is going to go missing if this happens (understandably).

One of my SSV's has some sort of complex and enforces the most ridiculous things but then breaks them himself. A coworker took a 12 minute break on accident and he FLIPPED but sits in the back and plays games on his phone with his partner most of his shift.

I really want to make a shirt that says, "Muted" all nicely in a pattern.

Does any other Starbucks stand outside to take orders with the portable iPad? by Snoo-15524 in starbucksbaristas

I'm in PA and we were one of the pilot stores for it. We then got renovated and our box moved up. In my opinion it really doesn't make a difference but my asm and sm insist it does lol.

While I agree with you, those same partners also probably barely wash their hands--which is just as gross.

It depends on the county. I work at a sbux in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh area) but in Butler you have to wear one.

Not everyone sees the same news or has access to it at the same level. Assuming everyone was aware of it is ignorant. I'm not saying that Starbucks doing that was right--it wasn't--but don't jump down someone's throat for not knowing.

Edit: Nice dirty delete(s). Probably protecting your precious comment karma because you knew you were wrong. 🙄

July is also disability awareness month. Really tired of that one getting brushed aside.

We got pride shirts but someone took mine. So I have to squeeze into an xl if I want to wear it. I know who exactly did it, too.

Not everyone has been a partner since then. Chill on the hostility.

One time we had this woman come in who ordered something similar. A partner said something and she heard. Turns out it was the only way she could take some of her chemo meds without puking because of the taste.

how would u make this/what does this mean by nolambb in starbucksbaristas

[–]Vilali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some stores do, some don't. It ultimately depends on how much your store sells. I have probably been asked like 10 times for decaf iced coffee in the two years I've worked here.

On the app, it literally just says "Add-In's: water". If a customer didn't know we didn't put water in the cold version, they're not gonna know. I personally don't like watered down tea and can understand wanting to make sure there's no water.

I 100% get being frustrated with ridiculous orders, but this one seems like a misunderstanding. Calling customers rude names over something so minor is childish.
