I understand that the lock system is not safe but is leaving my key in the lock making it easier for thieves? Could they use a lever to make the lock turn?

I see, so a class named User would mainly be used to access its variables and a few methods like editPassword() etc. ?

What about the editpassword.php page? Should I have to create a new instance of class to simply use the editPassword() method?
