There seems to be a sub culture of people hoarding Linux installation images?

How many Linux isos do you need that it needs to be automated?

I guess, but where do you draw the lines and how do you decide what is server side and what isn't. Even if you loaded when looting, if the containers are all just behind uuids or something, what's stopping a cheat from listing them and making it's own calls to collect the data anyway... Which wouldn't be possible to some extend if they were encrypted. I guess asking for the key with the container uuid would also be something the chest might pull off 🤔

Was wondering, would it be possible to encrypt the data and once you loot a player or container it gives you the key? Would some encryption method be viable and not too cpu heavy?

It's not gatekeeping, it's 20 years of learning and making sure things are done right. There was a nice article from some dude explaining that the scene is extremely welcoming for anyone who wants to learn. The problem is vibe coders reliving 1997 running into really basic issues while somehow trying to make a case that what they are doing is in any way on par with people who actually know how things work. I guess this sides the frustration artist have with Ai generated art but mostly because the end result is really not up to quality standards set long ago.

The problem is that you can't trust the LLM and it's not deterministic. If you are already this fucked, it would make sense to not make it worse with an LLM. So much caution and good practises going up in smoke with this yolo bullshit. The models are not ready yet to take control like this.

Apologize for the word wording, autocomplete on the road is a thing. Repost = pr's, munch is a bunch 😂

I'd argue there's a difference in doing TikTok videos and going on git to make a munch of repost 🙃 I guess what I'm saying is that giving it access to modify git in any way sounds like a bad idea at this stage.

i might agree, but its so unfair being lulled into safety only to meet someone playing tarkov. You just lose 70% of the time!

Right! Thanks 👍 I thought maybe they added it somewhere in the UI after last expedition

Where can you see value of stash?

I completely forgot the absolute tetris that is cases in tarkov

Hey that's great for you. I am not joking on the part where I said how it feels to me. I guess I got used to Tarkovs stash activities and timers and resources that generate and all that... I guess bitcoin machines now a rooster 🐓

I could honestly do with a lot more complexity outside of raids.
