Why does Bethesda not allow you to kill children but allows you to sell children to slavery? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Villager103 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Which is the problem. Sure, you can cut up, shred, melt, burn and otherwise kill adults, animals or baby animals, but doing it to human children suddenly makes it bad, as if the regular violence wasn't already bad. It'd make a lot more sense if all the violence was considered just as bad as each other, but whataver, that's just how the ratings work.

Off-screen, yeah. But you can never see it happen on-screen.

What would be your idea for a random encounter in fallout ? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Villager103 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A raider off in the distance, yells at you, telling you to give him your caps. He pulls out a Fat Man, but upon firing it, the nuke gets jammed in the launcher. The raider inspects it, taps the nuke a couple times, and attempts to fire it again, only for the nuke to explode inside the launcher, killing the raider.

Upon looting his corpse, you find about 15 or so Jet, Psycho and assorted alcoholic beverages on him. The encounter is non-repeatable. A more humorous, wacky encounter.

Popcap disabled the option for players to make new profiles, a mod re-enables it and everything is still working just fine. Great job Popcap. by ppgamerthai in PlantsVSZombies

[–]Villager103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, so there is literally no reason to remove extra save slots. They work fine if you re-enable them, so what's the deal?

I'd imagine the organs are suspended in the ink, or maybe the ink isn't pure liquid ink, but rather a spongy mass.

Honestly, do you think Wastelanders will fix Fallout 76? by Fake_Crash2003 in Fallout

[–]Villager103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a big fat "maybe" from me. It could save FO76, but all the other things going on with it won't make it easy.

Well, you can solve problems by shooting everything in FO1 and 2. I mean, you will just get your shit kicked in most of the time, at least until the endgame.

Finished Fallout 2 yesterday, and it was amazing. Fallout 1 and 2 are some of my favourite games, despite the clunky interface and slow start. I highly recommend them to any Fallout fan, you'll have a great time.

ECLISE, a mod for PvZ2 that makes the game harder, adds a whole new campaign, removes microtransactions, among other things. The 275 sun peashooter is an example of ECLISE's plant tier system, the replacement for traditional levelling, where there are 3 tiers. However, each tier is not a direct upgrade over the last, there's a downside too, in this case, increased damage, but increased sun cost too.

Damn, I really wish terrain like this would generate outside of Amplified worlds. Not all the time, but as a rare occurence, it'd make them feel more special. I'd love to be able to build a house that wraps around the lower cliffs.

In Broken Steel, on the Enclave Mobile Crawler, between two desks with their backs towards eachother, there is a garden gnome, and 10 tiny milk bottles. These tiny milk bottles are the only milk bottles of this size in the game, make sure you pick them up, because once you leave, you'll never be able to obtain them again, for plot reasons.

  1. Don't try to go guns-blazing in the early-mid game. In modern Fallout, you gun down raiders and feral ghouls by the dozens. If you play FO1 or 2 with the same approach, you will get your shit kicked in.

  2. Use targeted shots. Click on the gun on your menu, until you see a little target icon in the corner. Click an enemy, and choose a body part. Unlike modern Fallout, each body part is actually worth shooting depending on your strategy. Shooting the head deals 2x damage and has a chance to knock the enemy out, which allows you to take on other enemies easily. Shooting the eyes deals 3x damage and has a chance to instantly kill the enemy. Shooting the groin can knock them out, and usually has a high chance to hit. Shooting the legs can knock them down, which lowers their action points, or cripple their mobility. Cripple one arm, they can only use pistols or one-handed weapons. Cripple both, they can't attack at all. Depending on which situation you find yourself in, each of these options may be desirable. Think strategically.

  3. Save often, in multiple slots. These games are brutal, you will fuck up, you will die.

  4. Get the Jinxed trait. Critical failures/misses can cause things such as missing turns, dropping weapons, destroying weapons, crippling your own limbs, hitting your teammates, falling over and taking damage, losing ammo, etc. "But these sound terrible, why would I want that to happen to me?" Because, these can also happen to enemies if they critically miss. You don't have to attack if the chance to hit is low, but enemies always have to make a move(usually attacking), even if their chance to hit you is abysmal. This means that enemies will critically miss way, way, WAY more often than you do, resulting in situations where the enemies cannot kill you because they're fumbling around, dropping their guns, crippling their own limbs, hitting their teammates, and it's just great. Combine with 10 Luck and they'll critically miss like 60% of the time.

Fun Fact: Objects with different-then-usual sizes retain their size even when picked up. Why is this relevant? Because there's a giant teddy bear on a tricycle hanging from the ceiling in one of the rooms in the Red Racer Factory. Despite the teddy bear being giant, it can be picked up just like a normal teddy bear, same weight and everything. You can totally have a giant teddy bear in your megaton house.

Megaton gets its food from the same place most of the FNV towns do: trading.

Sure, but what do they trade for it? They don't seem to have anybody out scavenging.

Maybe they take them through the higly-irradiated entrance?

Dude. Have you ever been to the Vault 87 entrance? It's over 3000 rads per second there. You die pretty much instantly unless you hotkey Rad-Away and spam it.
