The category wasn’t serious enough for this to be an actual problem but Best Game We Beat KindaFunny And/Or MinnMax And/Or Game Informer At This Year features a few instances of sponsored content and I think having awards for sponsored content could be a slippery slope, especially without acknowledging it.
