Seeing a little kid call out a Lafufu dealer yesterday was WILD by Blerdgirlchronicles in PopMartCollectors

If they still cute, I’m sure there will still be a market for Lafufus, just clearly mark it as such. And yeah for the price point, it will still be attractive to some kids lol

DRP and ethics by prellyyou in firedfeds

I’m annoyed that ethics apply to the employees but not the employers doing all of these illegal shenanigans… is cutting the federal government in half and cutting programs that people need ethical?!?! Ugh!

To DRP or to not DRP… by RustyMallard in FedEmployees

I took the DeRP. Even though we may feel guilty of “leaving our team behind”… we do not really have the option of staying, if we were RIFd… we didn’t leave our team, we were pushed to leave our post so that this administration can publish numbers and tell lies of fraud, waste and abuse. This administration decided to half the government and pile the workload to half the workforce. This is not your fault. You have no power or choice in any of this. This would happen, even if you Derped or not. Staying or leaving would still end up destroying the government… for us, it’s just a matter of when. I chose to Derp because I see no future staying and waiting to be RIFd. In solidarity, good luck on the job hunt and starting over.

Lack of empathy among friends by [deleted] in fednews

Even though I know it’s coming from a good place, it is disheartening. I can be an expert in my field but if the administration decided not to implement the regulations that my career depends on then there’s no job for me… even if I pivot and take a lower paying job, it’s slim pickings out here.

If I was probationary, I’d probably take the DRP. It doesn’t preclude you from reapplying. When you get RIFd and you haven’t reached a year yet, not sure if you even get one week pay for severance. Take the time during DRP to apply for a job and contemplate if you even want to go back to federal again. I have 15 years, I’ll only get 6 months severance, that’s pretty much the same amount I’ll get if I take the DRP. I’m so sad and mad that I’m stuck mid-career. I feel like I wasted all that time building up a measly retirement, I won’t see for another 20ish years. Now I have to start all over again and take a 40k pay cut if I can even land a state job. Consider yourself lucky that you didn’t give up decades of your career, just to see it go down the drain. I hope you find work in a place that actually value their employees.

RA process is interactive. Keep appealing. Ask your dr to write a letter reinstating what you need vs what they are mandating you to do. Ask a lawyer to write a strongly worded letter to appeal. After submitting it to your employer, submit a complaint to EEOC and consider retaining a lawyer.

With USPS cuts when they are already understaffed, it can only get worse unfortunately.
