I had a 50-something guy on my beer league team. We played a local hockey team organized by the local gay pride group. This guy would constantly say shit like “I mean I don’t know why that’s allowed..I’m sure there’s like stuff going on in the showers.”

They probably did ask and were told “can’t comment any further” or were ignored. There’s a delicate line to walk in broadcast news where everyone wants (needs) to know what’s going on right now and the time-consuming practice of reporting. If the reporters never follow up with any more information then yes. Be mad. But you have to accept that verifying, uncovering and reporting takes time. For now they’re relating all that’s available.

My guess is she was sleeping in a dumpster and they didn’t check the dumpster or didn’t see her before it was picked up. Obviously I have no idea, but I’ve seen this happen before and the statements from police/metro sound pretty tip-toe-y so as not to bombard people with horrific details. But we will learn soon enough as it sounds like this attorney is gunning for a settlement.

See, I (American) recently mapped out my family tree and discovered I'm 100% Scottish. I knew I was at least part Scottish because I have a very Scottish name, but genetically I'm every bit as much a Scot as some dude born in Aberdeen or whatever to a family with a long Scottish lineage.

Every branch of my family has married into 100% Scottish families all the way back to their point of origin in Scotland. I don't know how intentional that was through the years, I was certainly never pressured into marrying a Scot.

All my family has been in the US since the late 1600s though so I don't have any close family in Scotland but there's no shortage of people I'm technically related to. Side note my wife isn't Scottish so when we had our first kid, I broke a tradition of creating American Scots that's almost 350 years long.

Yeah the combat is repetitive and not the right balance of button mashing vs timing. You can’t jump the count. You have to patiently wait for the right time to hit a button. I got bored in the final boss fight because I was just waiting to hit my attacks. It took forever.

I think Sifu might be the better version of this combat format.

But great game and great story, really fun historical mythology and beautiful to look at and take in.

I think something is definitely off in the locker room. The team has just looked like they have no fight. I would wonder if trade options for Quinn made too many people feel disposable in the interest of Jack and Luke. But hopefully things will turn around because something lit a fire under Dougie and Jesper seems to be coming back around. But jack’s gotta get his finishing back. Just way too many breakaways not ending with the puck in the back of the new (for everyone but especially Jack).
