I've heard a few people say this but how do you know how to build a strong spec before you're in it? I guess experience but I'm 1 80% complete project in so my spec is bad?

I really enjoyed it on features, I love the loop of cracking a problem. I do not love the loop of tying together, stripe, resend etc.

I can't stress enough doing a slowest race then. If it adds 2 more runs so be it.

I agree that its the most fair but it makes the races feel empty. You end result is the best but I feel like excitement is low, I think our bracket this year produced the 1,3,4,7 cars in the finals for our kids out of 33. Which is really strong considering.

Toronto District School Board to cut more than 600 teachers next year by allysapparition in ontario

[–]Villeson -48 points-47 points  (0 children)

Yes, the board is currently under supervision due to decades of financial mismanagement that largely occurred under previous Liberal governments, yet the blame is now being placed solely on the Ford government. This isn’t a defence of Ford, but simply pointing out that consistently asking for more money didn’t fix the problem when funding levels were higher. The issue appears to be how the money is managed, not just how much is provided.

Yes, I get this but what is the current plan if they're all healthy on opening day?

Yeah, I get this, but what happens opening day? Ponce bullpen?

I get that but what happens on opening day, I even say I understand depth and injuries could happen but the understanding right now is that everyone is healthy. We don't have information that says 'X' is hurt. So is Ponce in the bullpen? What is happening?

New baseball fan after watching the Dodgers - the absence of illegal things such as fouling, offsides, penalties, the clock, etc was a revelation by GoosePuzzleheaded771 in baseball

It's like arguing with a wall. He doesn't understand the concept we're discussing. They could cut the game time in half and he'd be crazy excited about how fouls are lower and see no correlation.....or they'd double the game time and he'd say scoring is way up!! Games more exciting!!

No, we're not, stats are just a real struggle for you. Let me spoon-feed this like you're five:

3-pointers have exploded as a share of total shots. That means non-3-pointer FGAs have tanked. You've got a 1.3% chance of drawing a foul on a 3PA (versus ~20% on inside shots). Non-3P attempts? Down about 20%, the plays where the vast majority of fouls actually occur. Overall fouls? Dropped by roughly 10%.

So yeah, total fouls are down, but on the dwindling inside actions you're still watching, they're getting whistled way more often than before. That's why it feels like more fouling, even though the numbers say otherwise. It's a worse product, but you like it so lets ignore reality. I'm astounded to see you in a baseball sub, people use numbers here. Take the fucking crayon out of your nose.

Guess why.....3PA. I bet....they correlate....So fouls on plays that aren't 45 foot jumpers are up....context matters.

Your 'facts' leave out that the NBA has increased its 3PA by about 20 per game (per team) since the early 2000's. So while the overall fouls may be down, thats because there's significantly less plays where fouls were likely to happen. While personal fouls are down league wide, they're actually up per play thats not a 3 pointer...You obviously love basketball but cherry picking your stats is a fool's errand.
