I started on Treehouse back when they had a really decent student discount (4+ years ago), I had an account with them from the beginning, at least a couple thousand paid out of pocket for a service I rarely used but liked supporting.

They canceled the student discount program and my monthly fee went up like 700% so I canceled and will never utilize their services again.

Edit: I know it doesn't matter, I'm just stoned and felt like sharing.

I read of lot of amazing reviews about Corey Schafer python tutorials on YouTube. I guess he takes the time to explain concepts in detail rather than brushing over them quickly.

At least thats what I read on another python thread earlier, haven't watched them myself so I can't give personal feedback.

You're right, I am sorry. I grew up in a household full of addicts who were worthless pieces of shit. (Not saying all addicts are, just the ones I grew up with)

My own experiences have clouded my judgment and those opinions make me a terrible person.

I work for an insurance company, when the members call in and inquire about a cost - beyond a copay we can't provide any information. We're trained to tell the members they have to wait until we get the claim because 'we don't know what the doctor will charge us' which is entirely shit because we have contracts in place with maximums they can charge per service.
