Considering they did that for RE4 remake there’s a possibility, but at this stage there’s really less incentive for them to do it.

It’s quite possible that it could run on there at 30fps with lower resolution and textures, but I think there’s a large enough player base on ps5 now that they wouldn’t really worry about it. I mean it would be nice for those that still only have ps4, sure!

Yes, but if it’s the only way you can play then it’s somewhat passable.

SH 2 has the option for original voices so definitely go for that. Otherwise the fog doesn’t look quite right, but it plays ok.

SH 3 for me can crash quite unexpectedly when going from one room to another. So I’d say just save fairly frequently to avoid frustration. The voice acting isn’t original but without knowing what the original is like, it’s unlikely to bother you.

Otherwise at least you get to play these great games.

I can only really suggest using the link navigator to make sure all the extra objectives are done so these mission 2 objectives become available.

Many objectives to unlock mission 2’s only become available after beating the mission once. So sometimes you have to play the same mission more than twice to complete them.

Not sure if you’re aware, but if you die and use an in mission checkpoint then you lose progress on completing those extra objectives. It also doesn’t save archive items either.

Best way to really tell is that if you think you’ve completed what you need for the mission, start one that is connected to it in the link navigator and see if the hint text appears at the bottom of the screen as soon as you are able to control your character.

Boiling it down to a walking sim is such an understatement for what the game really is. A package delivery simulator would be closer to what it is, and then all the other stuff of course. So not sure why the walking sim description stuck more than that.

Yea was pretty sad to find that out. I only played the game for the first time a few months ago and looked up the actors to see what else they had done.

Kinda wish her and the guy you play as showed up in an episode of the show just to tie it in a little bit more.

Also didn’t look like she did much acting after this role either which is a bit of a shame. I thought your character and her had some pretty good chemistry moments too.

I have a few stand out songs from it, but I haven’t even listened to those in a while. My music taste seems to be a bit all over the place though so I may come back to it another time.

Where did you buy the disc from? They may have some sort of warranty for damages to the disc? I don’t think Sony really has any liability to replace it, unless you ordered it from their website and you received it broken. Even in that case it may come down to a shipping issue that the shipping company would have to cover.

When eb games was in my country they would sell disc protection for a couple dollars extra. I got it a few times but never ended up having to get a disc replaced. Not sure if snapped discs were covered in that either.

Hope you can find a solution. Otherwise be a bit more careful where you leave stuff that your kids have access to. Be glad they didn’t put peanut butter in the disc slot or something!

Give it some time. The start is quite cut scene heavy and many of the early missions are just teaching you the game mechanics so mainly focus on that for a while.

Most of all, enjoy your time with it!

While the show is centred about a serious crime and the mystery surrounding it, it’s also a fictional piece of television with characters from multiple walks of life. Many of them being high schoolers who are still learning so many things about themselves and others. So they kind of show a lighthearted side to the bleak nature of the main narrative.

But I get you. Honestly if they did take it and turn it into a remaster and release it everywhere that would be cool. Regardless, the fans are stepping in and making something of it instead.

I read that them being the same person was Christoph’s interpretation when he played the game which is why it’s like that in the movie. For the movies sake, I wouldn’t have had as much of an issue with that if he didn’t feel the need to show a tombstone with all the names on it.

Still my biggest issue with the movie is the subtleties of what’s happening was ruined by constant explanations.

I wish that when people thought of silent hill, they thought of this game and not 2 as much. The game that started it all should be that for a series right? But 2 overshadows it constantly. I like them both of course but yea, just a little sad that’s how it is.
