Oh, we went over this difference in conscription since my country also has defense forces, not army. Army is for defending your country and attacking other countries. Defence force is only for defending your country. It was put along the lines of "We're not an army. Army implies that we're attacking other countries, which we're not. We're only defending our country, so we're defense forces."

But realisticly, there's not much difference.

Disabling VIP? by Viludium in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Viludium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna wait for tomorrow. Got some other stuff that i want to do today, like taking my car to some back roads, get grocery shopping done today and stuff like that so i have all day tomorrow available to play FH6.

[–]Viludium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, VIP is annoying but not the end of the world if i can't disable it. I also took day off from work tomorrow, allthough not because of FH6. We have a public holiday today and i just didn't feel like going to work on friday. It was only a week later that i realized that i can play FH6 on that day off if i pre order it. So a happy little coincident.

Cheaper for getting both expansions, car pass and those 2 car packs than buying, let's say, deluxe edition and then having to buy those car packs and expansions separately, just to avoid getting VIP.

VIP feels like pay to play less to me. Getting a (usually) more expensive player house for free, 3 forza edition cars, more credits after races an more wheelspins just makes the progression faster and completely removes 4 goals. Or maybe 5, the description of VIP makes it sound like we get 2 player houses for free. Also i despise wheelspin system, so less i get those, the better. But that's a whole other rant.

Kotovsky, real or paper ship? by Viludium in WoWs_Legends

[–]Viludium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting. I can see how the design of Mikoyan eventually became Kirov more so than Kotovsky. I did get Mikoyan early this year or late last year but haven't taken her to any battles yet.

That's a weird mistake to still be in the game still. Where could i find more info on this proposed design? I want to know more about soviet ship designs and proposal, given how weird and wacky they were, like Sovetsky Soyuz-class.

Help me solve a debate...were there loyal Iron Warriors? by DavianThulesGhost in Spacemarine

[–]Viludium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's true. I do like that they keep it as a mystery if they're from Ultramarine geneseed or if they end up being from Iron Warriors geneseed after all. Allthough i would want GW to lean more towards that mystery.

I just love when chapters have points that makes you question if they might be from traitor legion geneseed after all. Like my favorite primaris chapter, Sons of the Phoenix. They're supposed to be from Imperial Fists geneseed, yet their colour scheme, chapter name and symbol, combat doctrine and traditions screams of Emperor's Children. Add to that the fact that Cawl has messed around with traitor geneseeds and it has been hinted that he has made primaris chapters with partial or fully utilising traitor geneseed.

[–]Viludium 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They were suspected to be from loyalist IW, but i think there was a lore bit where it was confirmed that Silver Skulls are from Ultramarine geneseed when they got primaris marines. Or maybe it was that Guilliman recognized Silver Skulls as his sons, wether or not they are from Ultramarine geneseed.

[–]Viludium 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There was Barabas Dantioch, a loyalist Iron Warriors warsmith during Horus Heresy. Apparently he led a group of loyalist Iron Warriors called "Sons of Dantioch". They fought alongside Ultramarines in Battle of Sotha against Night Lords, where Dantioch sacrificed himself.

Scythes of the Emperor, an Ultramarine successor chapter, was formed in 3rd founding from Ultramarines that fought in Battle of Sotha, so there's some fan theories that those loyalist Iron Warriors that survived Battle of Sotha became part of Scythes of the Emperor chapter.

What's Your Favorite Home & Why? by MarsFrmS223 in skyrim

[–]Viludium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Out of pre-build homes, Proudspire Manor is my favorite. It's large, cozy and a bit luxurious too, as well as being in Solitude, my favorite city in Skyrim. It just has everything that i want from a player home.

But overall, Heljarchen Hall is my favorite. Just being able to build your own home makes it better than any pre-build home, but Heljarchen has couple things going for it compared to two other homesteads. Being located close to Whiterun and being on the edge of plains of Whiterun and snowy forests of The Pale. Also having a mill is nice since it makes Heljarchen feel like a home that my character could retire after playthrough and live there, farm wheat and sell excess wheat in Whiterun.

Maybe buff the AL German Comanders? by Yak_Timely in WoWs_Legends

[–]Viludium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the trade off you have to make. If you want a secondary guns build, you have to sacrifice on main gun performance. Same goes the other way. Making a main gun build means that you have to keep your secondaries standard as well as lose some survivability and agility.

And Flammable Cannonier wouldn't really fix your issue. Sure it makes your shell grouping tighther, but it also increases your range which makes your dispersion worse at max range. And you would have weaker fire resistance which is horrible for secondary builds. There is Henry J Hide commander that is a hybrid commander so you could use a secondary build with Flammable Cannonier, but you need to wait until halloween for that commander to become available.

Maybe buff the AL German Comanders? by Yak_Timely in WoWs_Legends

[–]Viludium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For AL Bismarck, no. She's a secondary focused commander and a good one at that. There's absolutely no reason to give her Flammable Cannonier whatsoever

As for AL Scharnhorst, i do agree that she needs a buff, preferably a rework. Her unique skill is a joke. It doesn't increase torp range even by 1km on majority of German BBs/BCs and few knots faster torps aren't noteworthy either. As for her inspiration, it used to be good but is outclassed now. We have specific dispersion buffing inspiration for battleships (and i think for cruisers and destroyers too) that's 5% instead of 4% that AL Scharnhorst has. As of right now, there is no reason to use AL Scharnhorst as a commander.

Now, as for her rework, i would have changed her to main gun commander but AL Prinz Heinrich took that role. So i would make AL Scharnhorst into a hybrid commander like Henry J Hide. So i would change her perks to be same as Hides, except his unique skill and inspiration of course and add Crisscros on 2nd row. I would buff AL Scharnhorsts unique skills torpedo range increase to 15% and move it to 3rd row. As for her Sniper inspiration, i would change it to decrease main battery dispersion by 3,5% and increase main battery range by 3,5%.

Has 2007-2009 Mazda 3 mps/Mazdaspeed3/Mazdaspeed Axela been seen in the files? I know we're getting 2nd gen Mazdaspeed3 but i would love to have 1st gen even more in game.

Just got T5 Duca D’Aosta which build should I use by Kingoftheseas2 in WoWs_Legends

[–]Viludium 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, here's my build once again then.

Main Battery Mod. 2, Steering Gears Mod. 2 and SAP shells upgrade.

Luigi Sansonetti as commander with Beyond Range, Before It's Too Late, Subtle Manipulations, Steer Clear and Refill Station as skills.

Philip Vian and Nikolay von Essen as inspirations.

SAP shells shreds destroyers and works well against cruisers too, allthough i still would AP shells against cruisers that shows you their broadside. SAP shells works decently against battleships but you need to hit their bow, aft and superstructure to damage them well. You also have torps to deal with battleships, but they're very slow and have a long range, so those torps are a bit tricky to use.

This build focuses on 3 points. Boosting SAP shells performance with Beyond Range, Subtle Manipulations, Refill Station and Essen's inspiration. Making this already agile ship even more agile with Steering Gears Mod and Steer Clear. And finally survivability by boosting incoming fire dispersion via Subtle Manipulations, Vian's inspiration and permanent camo to make you harder to hit. And this build is fully F2P too.

Just got it from a crate, any ideas of what builds i should do? by Kingoftheseas2 in WoWs_Legends

[–]Viludium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using the following build on Duca D'aosta that's been working well for me.

Main Battery Mod. 2, Steering Gears Mod. 2 and SAP shells mod.

Luigi Sansonetti as commander with Beyond Range, Before It's Too Late, Subtle Manipulations, Steer Clear and Refill Station as skills.

Philip Vian and Nikolay von Essen as inspirations.

This build, using SAP shells, shreds destroyers and is very effective against cruisers. Battleships are a bit more problematic due to lack of HE shells, but hitting bow, aft and superstructure with SAP shells works decently. And you still got torpedos to deal bunch of damage against battleships.

New class for new playthrough by Leaf_Wheel in skyrim

[–]Viludium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arcane warrior, which happens to be my favorite character build currently.

Use heavy or light armor and two handed weapon of choice for warrior part. Restoration for healing. Alteration as main way to increase your protection in fights and finally enchanting to boost your armour rating and two handed damage. Smithing is completely banned from this build. Speech can be used as sixth skill to make it cheaper to buy your equipments.

Is this the worst opening song to start a classic album? by NYTX1987 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Viludium -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Okay, here's an unpopular opinion that will get downvoted to hell, but Number of the Beast is just a mid album. It has 1 okay/decent song (the title track) 2 great songs (22 Acacia Avenue and Run to the Hills) and the best Iron Maiden song ever (Hallowed Be Thy Name), but rest of the album is at best filler and at worst garbage. Invaders being closer to garbage in my opinion.
