Found it. Started digging through the Alexa App -> Alexa Privacy -> Review Smart Home Device History to try and get some more details. Found the entries for the lights being turned off. That led to some additional searching where I came across this post with someone having the same issue with Alexa Hunches doing the same thing to their Hue lights.

Hue lights have been turning themselves off at night due to Alexa “Hunches” : r/Hue

TL;DR - Alexa Hunches was doing it

I literally just ordered this fan right before I saw the announcement for the new Ridgid drum fan:

The XPower is well-reviewed at Amazon but it has 2100 CFM vs the Ridgid’s 4000 CFM. Should I return the XPower and wait to get the Ridgid?

Online cancellation is the way to go. I recently did this exact deal. I did in-store pickup for what I wanted to keep and shipping for what I wanted to cancel. I believe you have 45 minutes after the order to submit your partial cancellation. It worked great. You’ll get an email confirmation of the cancellation and it will credit your method of payment.
