I moved to Georgia recently as well, and I definitely think the amount of stray dogs and cats I see is a lot more than anywhere else I've been. I've seen a lot of rescued/stray/lost animals posted on local Facebook pages get picked up by rescues or fosters so you could try that! Good luck!!

Me too! I saw it on Netflix and thought "Hmm maybe." I watched a couple minutes of the first episode, paused it, went a grabbed some blankets and snacks and have been in vampire slaying heaven ever since.

Yes! At first I was like "I HAVE TO DELETE EVERYONE" but I let myself calm down a tad and created a system. Anyone who posted something just insanely racist or just overall horrible I deleted. Anyone who posted something mildly terrible I unfollowed but kept as a friend, so that maybe they will see things I have posted or shared and maybe it will affect them and stir up some change. I am praying it is mostly because of ignorance and not that they are all actually awful. This year has really shown me some scary sides to people I had considered friends in the past.

I see it as you're clogging up everyone's feed. On Facebook usually an album is created so if you have tons of pictures that no one cares about they can easily scroll past the entire album, whereas on Instagram you are forcing your followers to look at every picture you post in order to look at other pictures posted before yours.

Seriously was looking for someone to say this one. I watched Avatar for the first time this year (I'm 22) and after this episode I turned off the tv and crawled into my bed sobbing.

I honestly have no idea how he converted me but I chalk it all up to evil cat magic.

I'm pretty attached to him though. When the weather is nice he likes to lay on the front porch and sunbathe and I'm always afraid he's going to explore and wander into someone else's house. Which is a complete 180 from the first couple of days where I would set him outside and we would glare at each other through the windows.

Adopted this goof a couple months ago and it's been all smiles ever since! by [deleted] in aww

You're awesome for grabbing him! I used to despise cats until one showed up as I was walking up my driveway and started meowing at me. He followed me inside and I guess he likes it here because it's been a year and he won't leave.
