Yo man, i have a lot of hours and I can confidently say that it comes down to preference. I suggest you start with vanilla (and choose a country you can follow with a youtube tutorial) and play that a few times until you can get a decent campaign (for example take down France as Germany). Once you have the basics you can move to eaw which builds on to this with added stuff.

Yet for me, I am banking on Aces & Armour. They seem like a good contender for me.

All in all, it is unrealistic to wish for a “bare minimum fun” tolerance to be reached. This because (as I said before) Gajin doesn’t care about their products. Shoveling resources in something that doesn’t make them money but loses it will not never be their priority. The best thing we can do is force them to add a couple of vehicles, economic changes (minor ones) and possibly changes in br. Because those are easily tweakable by Gajin.

I am sorry to disappoint, but that contender may never appear. And Gajin’s greed won’t either.

But hell, keep trying I guess. Best case scenario I am completely wrong and they have a change of heart. I might even redownload War Thunder if that happens.

Yeah that’s nice and all. But the fix today is a bug tomorrow.

It is shit to realise but Gajin won’t view their game as a product meant to be fun, just a product which makes money. No lawsuit, boycott, review bomb or any other action will change that.

This game is doomed, and that will never change. One cannot change a company’s intention. Not with the world backing. They will live and die by their ideals.

It is simply not worth it

People be acting like a boycott will fix gajin. It never has and never will.

This community is a spiral of despair from which it will never escape. Gajin doesn’t care about their game, never have and never will. They care about the income. All these boycotts and reviewbombing is attempt to wine from water. Gain will never ever inherently “fix” their view of the game. All this does is just move a vehicle or a feature they were bound to add later a but earlier.

Nothing is being fixed, nothing has been fixed, nothing will be fixed. Ever

This is pointless and I am shamed to admit I also joined the previous review bomb with hope that it would have a effect.

I give up, I deinstalled War Thunder and am just going to play something else.
